  1. Thankfully our eb on Jewel this past April was at night as were all our we trips.
  2. When we were on the January 2019 Oasis cruise that got shortened due to Noro we got money back, our hotel was reimbursed and people who were flying got change fees reimbursed. Don't know whether Royal helped with fare changes. Also noted that the parking garage only charged us for 6 days, not the 7 days we had thought we had paid for. I know we were refunded with obc for port charges for the ports missed. Dh thinks they also refunded the fare.
  3. Agree, At least your time changes are while you sleep. For reasons that I don't know, the QM2 on EB crossings makes the time change at noon. That's crazy. Lunch isn't at noon but 1 and if you want to go to tea, you feel like you just finished lunch.
  4. Follow on Marinetraffic.com. scheduled in at 2:30. They will disembark passengers that day and board later that day. They've done it before.
  5. Royal will pay for most of change fees. According to Marinetraffic, due into port Canaveral Sunday 2:30 pm
  6. Many years ago we were scheduled to sail on a 10 nt on the Explorer from Cape Liberty, yes many years ago. Dh called me while out shopping a day before to let me know the ship was delayed, by at least 1 day. The ship had been in St. Thomas I think. A passenger had had a car accident, didn't think he was hurt, reboarded the ship, the ship left and then realized how badly he was hurt. Ship turned and headed to San Juan where passenger was met by USCG helicopter. Heard his wife called her son to fly down to meet him since they didn't evacuate her. 12 hours there and back for the ship. Royal notified passengers, met passengers at airports and port and transferred them to hotel. We got a refund, more than the 1 day we lost. It happens.
  7. Oops. Mistake. Early at 5:30 & mtd started at 6:30 or later.
  8. Since covid they haven't been doing mtd at 5:30. Not sure why. We do traditional dining late but have seen that on our sailings including, if I remember correctly, on the Anthem TA in October.
  9. Of course but depending on age they run out of patience quickly.
  10. They said traveling with kids, so cocktails, etc probably won't work nor would waiting on lines.
  11. Just noticed this. We did this tour years ago and thought it was very good. Seemed to recall just showing.
  12. Early seating traditional dining. It's what we've done with groups. Waiter will know you and what the kids want. You may need more than one table but your tables will be near/next to each other. No waiting for a table.
  13. Hope it's at least 10 hrs or you will only have 2-3 hours to tour. Rt travel is probably 5-6 hrs.
  14. Ok. Remember that but I remember it as the slip I gave to the hotel so they didn't charge us tax!
  15. Correct. My comments were for US citizens and leaving and returning to the same US port.
  16. I'm confused. You don't need a visa for Israel. We've been there a few times. They give you something so you don't need to pay taxes at hotel, but for US citizens no visa. Sounds like something we did in St. Petersburg where we did need a visa.
  17. If a closed loop cruise either a passport or your government issued photo id, i.e. driver's license and government issued birth certificate. Saying that, we always travel with passport because in an emergency requiring you to fly home from a foreign country you will need your passport.
  18. Did Oasis once and it was enough. Had to wait to get into WJ and took us 2 days to find made to order omelets. Love Quantum class and Radiance class. Saying that will sail almost any ship, we love to cruise.
