Our cruise is in the beginning of February. Upper suites have appeared to be sold out for a very long time but..... I was given the opportunity to bid on an owners suite & a penthouse suite. I bid on both a few weeks ago. Just out of curiosity I just went back to check on my bids. The owners suite says to either cancel or modify the bid. The penthouse bid says PENDING ! Makes me think I just might be getting a penthouse :O) What do you think ?

We do NOT have it listed in our summery. We sail first week of February. But, I just went on the Princess site & it is listed there a suite benefit.

Got my Come Back & Sail offer. Booked for February. My husband got one also but mine had a better cabin offer & more casino freeplay. So we booked under mine. They would NOT extend any freeplay to him.

No special restaurant that I know of !

I use a big internet travel agency. Just enter all the cruise info.....date, ship, etc. then I click on the particular category cabin....inside,outside,balcony, etc. then it will show every cabin available in that category AND location !

On the blog for my particular cruise, people are already booking the 360 dining experience. Not sure but I assume they are paying. We are in a suite & the app wants me to pay the full price. I have spoken to 3 different people at Princess. 2 say it is no longer a suite perk. The third says to wait until you are onboard. I want to assume the first 2 people are wrong. My issue about waiting until we are onboard is that I want the early dining. We are old & can not eat late.. I know seating is very limited & if I wait until we are onboard, all the early dining slots might be gone. Any advice ??

Might be a scam BUT it appears to be a casino offer. If so, your PVP will not know anything about it. You need to call the casino department. not sure but I think it is 888-772-6697

they are in a tall glass display case between the food & where they make the coffee drinks.

We did Hobby because it was closer...horrible. 95 % Southwest. Probably not bad if you were flying on them. We were on American. ONE checkin counter were the lady was absolutely horrible & we had no one else to talk to. I think Delta also had only counter checkin. I found the airport confusing...I am old. & had tsa precheck. There was the TSA (?) person before you got to the xray machines. I was confused & asked him which line was for precheck. He acted like I was putting him out & nastily said...all lines end at the same place. So ,of course, I got in a wrong line In had to take my shoes off, etc.

Does everyone pay $150. even if you are in a suite ? Has anyone done this & do you think it worth the $$$ thanks

BECAUSE IT IS GALVESTON ! Did our first & probably last Galveston cruise a little over a month ago. We fly out of San Francisco & I thought this would be a lot easier than going to Florida. WRONG Horrible port...etc.

Just did a Princess Caribbean Cruise.. Ship time was NOT always on the 'real' time. It drove me crazy as I have an Apple watch & it wanted to stay on 'real'time !

We are cruising in February out of Los Angeles. We are in a suite & have the plus package. We have previously cruised 3 times since they started the Medallion with no problem. I know they will not put you in the 'green' line with getting it delivered.. When trying to finish up everything....it says that delivery is NOT an option. We are just getting the standard one. any ideas why ?

How long did it take for a reply....I do know it can vary. Just bid for an upgrade. Cruise is 55 days out.

Is the salty dog gastro pub considered a premium restaurant or one that you get free with the plus package ? thanks

NOTHING compares to the YC. A mini suite is nothing but a glorified balcony cabin. If you are used to the YC, at least get yourself a full suite on Princess. But....no butler...private sun deck with buffet...etc. But... I do like the suites on Princess. The experience is better if you go on a ship with a concierge lounge. They do not all have that.

Most of the time they have sniffer dogs at the port before you re enter the ship

Point made was about supposed sold out cruises that were not really sold out.....

My cruise in April shows sold out on several sites. I called Holland today because I was concerned because we still had a guarantee with no assignment.. She checked & said there was LOTS of availability for that cruise. They just put that out there like that sometimes !

Do not know what the criteria is but we constantly get email offers for a casino discount. They only apply to certain cruises & certain category cabins. There was one for next April we took. They offered us a signature suite. We paid the difference to upgrade to a Neptune suite. We ONLY play penny slots. My average bet is $2.00

We did not realize that HOU is basically a Southwest Airlines airport. We flew American. Only 2 checkin desks for them & only one of them open. I asked about getting an earlier flight from DFW, our connection, because we had a 4 hour layover. She said I would have to take that up at DFW. I told her that was not a good idea since my luggage would be tagged for the other flight. She just held her ground & said to take it up there.The lady was a total snot but we were stuck with her even though we had first class tickets. I was a bit confused ( I am OLD) when we got to the gentleman who checks your passport before security. I asked where tsa precheck was. He was a total snot & said to just proceed...they all get you through. Of course we wound up in a wrong lane. Looked like only one desk for DELTA also. We do not care for Southwest and after our Experience with American there...... Unable to get a through flight from San Francisco. We though going out of Galveston would be quicker than flying yo Florida but when you ad the time from the airport to Galveston, I think it is actually longer. Unfortunately not much that we like goes out of the west coast.

We were on the Regal last week....There was NO green line in the beginning or facial recognition at the end. Waited OUTSIDE the port for over an hour before they let us inside.....got there after 10 & had green line status which didn't matter. Over an hour to get from the ship to outside the port....carrying off our own luggage.
