Love the Valor — cruised on her this past April. Couldn’t beat the location of the hotel; a 5 minute walk to the ship!

I don’t know if anyone can answer this or if it even means anything, but I’m giving it a shot. My SetSail Pass has me listed under Sea Class as Platinum and Choice; my sister is listed as Gold. Anyone know what the Choice means? I am just curious more than anything.

For those that keep asking if they can make a flight and think nothing can happen, this was posted this morning. Disembarkation still has not taken place. A yacht crashed into the ferry/. Sadly, one person did not make it.

Good day: Is there any specific order for boarding on embarkation day? I usually cruise Carnival, and their order is: weddings diamonds and suites platinum FTTF and then they start calling zones Just wondering if Princess follows the same rule. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if we can use Princess gift cards to purchase shore excursions prior to sailing? The only options on-line that I see are credit card or PayPal, but I have a gift card I would prefer to use. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just off the Valor last Thursday. We did not have any issues with what most would consider a booze cruise. People were very well behaved, except for the one person smoking weed on their balcony and in the room. Obviously, the dog didn’t sniff well enough. I am no food snob, but found the food to be mediocre at best. Twice in the MDR, the food wasn’t that great. The BBQ joint was meh. Lido was good for food and desserts. ‘I didn’t feel crowded on the ship. I think this is the first time I have cruised and have had well-behaved children. No kids running around, pressing elevator buttons, etc. if you have any specific questions, I can try to answer.

Beyond excited! Didn’t get to cruise last year, so this trip is much needed.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, where we consider ourselves to be professional drinkers. I will throw my hat into the ring in 22 days to assist anyone else with conducting research. Probably not as the room number is on there. However, my priority tags are red, which may be how they determine which bags get delivered first. My platinum ones were green.

I noticed that when I went into my cruise docs a week ago. It was around the same time my luggage tags switched from “Platinum” to “Priority.” I was prompted to check by another posting about stealth changes to boarding passes. Luckily, I saved them back when all the info (Itinerary, etc.) was still there.

I travel by myself all the time — both on land and sea. At sea is definitely safer, as long as you know what you are doing in the ports. By the way, on Royal, only one person in the cabin must buy the drink package. You just need to call to place the order. You can still cruise with your friends if that is what is holding them back.

I don’t like this. I was reassigned a PVP because mine left during covid. The new PVP didn’t get back to me when I wanted to book a cruise, so I booked through the 800 number (had to cancel and move a cruise). I made mention to the person on the phone I left several messages and emails for my PVP, but he never got back to me. She put me on a brief hold and guess who was calling me on the other line. She obviously said something to him, and he called. I then requested another PVP through Carnival’s web site, and my currently assigned PVP I was assigned to called me. I don’t like this change as most PVP’s are unreachable and take forever to call back, if at all. I am done with PVP’s and will do everything myself, unless I can find me a good one.
