LLWS is one of my favorite things. Our team was lucky enough to make it all the way to the Pony League World Series in Washington PA in the mid 90s. We played Chinese Tai Lei, Bayoman PR, and teams from MD and GA. Amazing experience.

We are heading to Bermuda on Liberty on 9/2. i’m getting a bit nervous about hurricane’s Franklin and Idalia. Looks like Franklin will pass by mid next week but then Idalias path may pass over FL/GA and take a hard right toward Bermuda. 😳 Keeping fingers crossed. First and foremost I hope both avoid land and populated areas as much as possible.

The dreaded departure schedule. I feel your pain.

We just did the southbound itinerary in June on Radiance. I booked the Alaska Railroad (Goldstar) myself directly on the website. We stayed at the springhill suites Anchorage Midtown. They had a free uber/lyft service. I called from the airport and they sent an Uber at no cost to us. we used lyft to get to the train depot. You put your cruise luggage tags on your luggage before boarding the train and you won’t see them again until you get to your cabin on the ship. The train drops you really close to the ship in Seward. The Seward terminal is technically walkable but it was raining and a bit chilly. We opted to take the shuttle bus that were waiting directly outside the train stop.

Dads hat - i can get you any you want here in PA. Buffalo still hard to get my hands on here.

Back in 2009 or so it was the same office visit cost etc but when gas prices went through the roof the cost of the office visit began to rise to account for that cost to the business.

We’ve been using a mobile vet for close to 15 years. While not cheap it eliminates many issues.

Correct 🤣 Although the pirates have been on my sh** list for many years. Mgmt is far more interested in turning profits than fielding a competitive team. If it weren’t for the kids i would not go/support that. Real shame bc it’s such a beautiful park.

Today we are heading down to PNC park for a Pirates baseball game. My nephew hung out with us most of yesterday and slept over. We’ll meet up with family down at the game. It’s gonna be pretty busy there. It’s kids day and “Yinzerpalooza” LOL 😂
