  1. Yes to internet report please! I’m sure it won’t be great but at least serviceable would be nice. I’ve heard reports it is worse in Alaska due to the landscape We are doing Radiance SB also in the 6/9 sailing. Are you taking the train to Seward from Anchorage? If so, how do you get from the Seward train station to the port? I know it’s pretty close, but how close? Not walking distance with bags? When is your boarding and did they honor your time? Names/place of any outstanding bartenders? Thank you!!
  2. Yes It’s hay. Under the hay there were bare spots in the lawn from the dogs. I patched the spots with fresh top soil and planted new grass. The hay acts as insulation and protection for the newly seeded area. Once the grass grows up through the hay, I’ll mow over it to pick most of it up. Mushroom Compost is my preferred top dressing but not ideal for this particular application.
  3. I am way behind in this thread. This is for @Sea Dog who no longer needs to worry about re seeding his yard that has been destroyed by a winter of dog (s) pee 😂
  4. I used shutterfly to create a photo book from our last Alaska cruise. Came out really nice and was pretty easy to put together.
  5. Do they put raisins in either of the apple desserts shown on the menus? if you get a chance to try them. Sooo disappointing that they put raisins in the apple pie.
  6. I feel your (and the woodpeckers) pain. If i forget to take down my suet feeder, Raccoons always steal it and eat it all. I usually find it wedged in the fence slats. Mr. Raccoon hasn’t figured out how to get it through or over the fence yet to completely steal the whole feeder. We have lots of different birds visit our feeders. Woodpeckers I’ve identified are downy, red headed and yellow belllied sapsucker - No pileated that i have seen.
  7. We’ve talked about visiting North Country Brewing several times just haven’t made the time yet. Maybe this summer 🤔
  8. exactly .. there is a big difference between a true travel medical policy and trip insurance
  9. The developers of our neighborhood were wine enthusiasts. Streets in our neighborhood are all Sonoma wines. Stags Leap, Duckhorn, Silverado etc.
  10. Thank you for the pics. Looks like we picked a good tour. glad to hear positive feedback. i like how in the excursion description it specifically points out that they stay in calm water at all times. 😂 No way i’d get on that boat rocking the way it does out in the bering sea!
