We don't drink expensive wine so I can't see us getting value from the package. I would like a martini pre dinner and then a glass of wine with dinner. If you don't like the included wine are you able to switch to another?

Also trying to decide whether to get the SS package. Having never sailed with Viking would appreciate some opinions on the quality of the included wine with dinner.

How late is late on Viking?

Thanks for all the tips. Sounds like the cruise for us. My budget only allows for a V2 which is a guarantee versus a V1. Which one would you prefer in terms of noise and stability? Aft is above the restaurant and forward V1 above torshavn. How early and late could we expect any noise?

I'm afraid as my health is comprised now I can not contemplate an indirect long haul. So unless Viking change the embarkation and debarkation from San Juan we will not be considering it. Even if I book my own flight there is no non stop from the UK. 😞

I think that one is listed as"moderate". Could you give me some idea how much walking was involved. I'm 56 but have some health issues although fairly active. Difficult to know whether I will be able get the value of the included excursions.

Do Viking provide shuttle buses to city centres in each port and is there any cost? We prefer to do our own thing.

I will look into booking with an agent and see if they can get direct flights. If only Viking would sail from somewhere else for the Carribbean.

Just about to book our first cruise with Viking. I'm not looking forward to flying long haul again and wish to get some reassurance that the included flights from Heathrow to San Juan will be direct. Agent can't guarantee because the flights aren't open yet.

As I'm considering booking a VO cruise for the small ship experience. I usually do Celebrity with 3000 guests. I am wondering how crowded the bars, theatre and pool deck is . Obviously a lot less passengers but also a smaller ship. So stressful having to get up at the crack of dawn to beat the chair hogs when I'm supposed to be on holiday. Please tell me it's better on Viking.😂

We were also on this cruise and have to disagree about the lack of drinks servers. We never actually sat around the pool but on deck 14 was surprised to see more than on previous cruises. The pool deck was as usual blocked by chair hogs. On the last sea day there were towels down on all the beds by 8am! We had anytime dining at 6:45 every evening which went smoothly with no queing. We did see long lines after 7:30 however. It appeared to have been a full ship and some bars and Cafe al Bacio were very busy but never once did we give up and return to the cabin. Crew were fantastic and it was a very enjoyable cruise.

I am leaning towards Iceland in May because it's somewhere that appeals and if we're very lucky you never know. However will wait until 2025 because we want a Sunset view rather than the IV ones that are available for next year.

I really would like to see the northern lights but can't see any itinerary for this. I recently read a review of the Iceland and Ireland cruise where they spotted the lights in May. How rare is it to see them at this time of year? I know I could do P&O or Viking from Southampton for the Northern lights but prefer celebrity.

We are due to sail from Southampton in 2 weeks but I have yet to see any shows in the app. House bands and soloists are showing up although nothing for the Sunset Bar. Could anyone who has been on Silhouette lately let me know what shows and guest performers are on board.

Hi can anyone clarify whether the new room service charge includes any food you order or is the charge just for the 'service'. Thinking about hot breakfast items specifically. We are in a standard balcony cabin. Not aqua or concierge.
