I have to bring along a lot of liquid medicines for my nebuliser and have been told by security that if you provide a list of repeat medication then it won't count as part of the total allowed. I put all my liquid medicines in as many separate bags as I need. Never had a problem at UK airports although the nebuliser has been questioned when it's scanned.

I watched that yesterday as we've recently booked our first Viking cruise. We've booked a V2 so not quite the same as the OS🤣.

Thank you for your reassurance. I was concerned about runners pounding on the deck below in the early morning. Glad to hear about your experiences on deck 3. We purposely avoided cabins further forward above the theatre.

New to Viking and I booked a V2 over the restaurant 3083. Has anyone experienced any problems with noise from the restaurant or the promenade deck below? I haven't found any reviews for this cabin.

This will be our first Viking cruise also and I agree that it's a very complex excursion booking process for us particularly as we're booked in steerage V2🤣. I know that my excursions open up 60 days before but at what time? I'm in the UK. As it's an itinerary we've done before we will be flexible with our choices so not worth the extra expense of a DV6 for us.

I too am an experienced horsewoman. I will be utterly fascinated with watching a training session. I love to visit other stables and have a good nosey round too. I agree not everyone's cup of tea.

Hi we're on the Empires of the Mediterranean October 24 and would like to visit the Lippizanner stud at Lipica. Not sure if Viking ever offers this as an excursion or if it would be viable to take a taxi. A long time off yet and no takers on the Roll Call.

I think I may be disappointed with the real thing having only seen the vivid images in the glossy brochures. Still considering the Northern lights cruise in the future. -

I get a combined one with ocean river and expedition but not a separate ocean one.

I use a portable nebuliser to deliver medication to my lungs and last cruise on Celebrity it seemed really sluggish. They provided another adapter which made no difference. I'm wondering if I should be using a voltage converter as well ie UK to US?

Thank you millybess I've just found the times on my invoice. Only difference I can see is we depart Venice at 11pm. I wonder if they will have a shuttle service from the port (Choggia) to Venice as there will be time for an afternoon visit.

I know this is wishful thinking when we are talking about price increases but does VO have a price guarantee like we get with Celebrity? Our cruise is not until October 2024 so is it worth checking pricing on a regular basis?

Finally settled on Empires of the Mediterranean for DHs milestone birthday early October next year. Really looking forward to our first Viking cruise now there's no need to worry about long haul flights.

Managed to get V2 above the restaurant after all. More cabins became available this morning that weren't guarantee.

Do you have to book a tour of the bridge? Did one on Celebrity once and it cost a fortune.

My mistake. I really want a cabin above the restaurant which is V2 but guarantee. I see that V1 are further forward and not above torshavn. I might go for one above the cinema. Is that a better choice regarding the noise?
