  1. My desire to give a cash tip naturally occurs when I feel especially grateful for being provided with a service beyond the expected minimum, irrespective of whether a service charge is automatically added.
  2. No idea what the questions are but the questionnaire would appear to be completed within “My Cunard” and the result displayed as such for the UK Print Health Questionnaire Declaration (cunard.com) and for the US Print Health Questionnaire Declaration (cunard.com).
  3. Well, according to your posts at #37 and #40, anyone who doesn’t check their account regularly has more money than sense.
  4. So, continue to scrutinise your onboard account. That is your prerogative.
  5. That very much depends on how one evaluates sense versus money. It seems to me that @Solent Richard is too busy ensconced enjoying himself and, to him, it makes more sense not to waste valuable onboard holiday time worrying about potential issues that are relatively miniscule when one looks at the overall cost of the cruise.
  6. Me too and it was at 7pm according to the Daily Programme.
  7. In an attempt to introduce some objectiveness, perhaps the OP’s dinner mate was using their room card to purchase the wine and the Amex was the card they used to set up the onboard credit account. There have been reports of onboard accounts not set up correctly at check-in resulting in purchases being declined necessitating a visit to the pursers desk to resolve the issue.
  8. A word of caution. Printing off the same Pass again will not extend the expiry date. It is necessary to request a new Pass as the 180 days validity runs from the date of issue not the date of printing unless of course they are one of the same. That refers to who can obtain the Pass, not how long the Pass will be valid for. As you say, one should keep an eye on the expiry date of the 2D barcode.
  9. I see no reference to 6 months (or 180 days for that matter) on my NHS APP only the expiry date of the 2D barcode which is definitive and most certainly 180 days after issue. 6 months is a convenient approximation and could catch some people out.
  10. Precisely HH. The expiry date of the Pass is 180 days after issue, not 6 months.
  11. Prior to 12 May they did only have a 30 day validity; since then it's been extended to 180 days as per my earlier post.
  12. Sorry to be pedantic but they are actually only valid for 180 days. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-covid-pass#:~:text=You%20will%20still%20need%20to,had%20a%2030%2Dday%20expiry. 🧐
  13. You could maximise on BA's generous carry on allowance which is per person:- 1 cabin bag Max. 23kg / 51lbs Up to 56 x 45 x 25cm / 22 x 18 x 10in PLUS 1 handbag Max. 23kg / 51lbs Up to 40 x 30 x 15cm / 16 x 12 x 6in
  14. You certainly can as others have already said. Here is the official confirmation Cruise questions - Frequently asked questions - Cunard Line
  15. Could it be "I think you're entering the realms of fantasy there, Jones"?
  16. The £150 is for United Kingdom brands with the caveat "*The onboard credit for Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises is determined based on the operational currency onboard the vessel". The onboard currency for Cunard is USD hence the OBC will be $250.
  17. With 15 trips one would reach Diamond.
