RCL needs a chief meteorologist

Clearly you can not - as is evidenced by his current employment status. He was disciplined more than once before he was cut loose. -

It doesn’t matter. You can’t espouse your personal political views on the same social media platform that you give official company information. JVF’s downfall was his own doing, and this was t the first time. -

The only thing I can think of that I have relinquished is the claim for a price drop. Booking group rates with a TA, there are almost never any price drops because your initial fare is so much lower. I email my TA, tell him exactly what I want done, and within a couple hours it’s done, I am fully in control. I have no desire to sit on the phone with customer service, I have far more important things to do. Most anything I need to do, I can do online by myself.

Find a TA you can work with that does a lot of group bookings. My cabins are normally $500-$800 cheaper than published rates. They are ALWAYS refundable deposits. add to that fare savings the different perks we get (sometime OBC, sometime specialty dinners or wine, sometimes prepaid gratuity) and I have saved tens of thousands over the last decade. The intangibles of having someone else wait on hold with the cruise line to resolve issues (time is money) just adds more value than I care to calculate. Just to reiterate, I have received all of this, and have relinquished zero tangible control of any of my bookings.

Current Deposit Refund Policy?

Plus 1; this is the ONLY way I book. Have booked refundable deposits with TA cheaper than non refundable deposits directly with the line (and not just Royal) -

Perhaps you had an inclusive fare booked. Celebrity does not give their own Elite members "anytime drink vouchers" they certainly aren't honoring Royal C&A loyalty vouchers. Celebrity loads Captain's Club vouchers on your card that can be used at any bar on Happy Hour evenings only, perhaps those were the vouchers you used.

If this were true, then you would know that a 400%-500% markup on alcohol in a resort setting is pretty standard. You should also be aware of the increase in the wholesale market. Regardless of your feelings on the costs, Royal’s per cruise revenues are eliminating Covid debt faster than any other mainstream line. They know exactly what they are doing.
