  1. Oh I agree. Their wings were generally cheaper than most land based places.
  2. Looking over the menu for playmakers on my upcoming sailing on Freedom and noticed the prices are considerably higher than they were three weeks ago on Indy. Your dining credit that you get for the dining package doesn't go early as far. Wings were the most noticeable hike as previously you could get 24 wings plus a side in your $20 but not anymore. Most appetizers appear up a few bucks.
  3. Is there much of a difference between the two cabins? Price difference is about $200 a person for a 4 night cruise in Indy to go from Gs to Os. Gs already gets the full suite amenities so not sure it's worth it to go to the Os. Thoughts?
  4. The beach has people selling their junk constantly though, right? That was a draw to blue lagoon, no people wandering the beach asking you every 2 minutes to braid your hair or buy their stupid bracelet.
  5. We've been considering Riu since it's actually cheaper than the adult only blue lagoon, but keep going back and forth on it
  6. I posted this on the Nassau board but didn't get anywhere, so hoping to get some here since Blue Lagoon through Royal is fairly popular... We've been to blue lagoon before, but only did the regular beach break. We have two options for our upcoming cruise, and I'm trying to determine if it's worth it to pay the extra for the adult only excursion. From what I remember, the adult only area is across that bridge. According to the website, the adult one includes Bahama mama's and soft drinks for the day. The regular beach break is $74 a person. The adult only one was $134 a person, so considerably more expensive. Trying to determine if it's worth it. Is the upgrade to adult only a anything other than the watered down Bahama mammas?
  7. Yeah outside of new sheets, a quick vacuum and the toilet brushed, that's about the extent of cleaning. Public areas, even less. "covid cleaning" is a thing of the past.
  8. Any idea why? The port is pretty full today. Medical?
  9. We filled out the form and dropped it off on the ship. Could it still be "processing" after these 3ish months?
  10. We had the letter in our room back in February in navigator for our first block, indicating they didn't have any on the ship but fill out the form and they'd mail us one. Still haven't seen it. I doubt we ever will to be honest.
  11. Man a cruise ship is one of the last places I would want to see most of its customers naked. Swim suits are bad enough!

  13. I think we may cancel the 10 night and either do none or maybe the 3
  14. Agree. That's why I'm going back and forth on it. Basically giovanni's kitchen, chops, Wonderland, hibachi/Izumi sushi and to your point, playmakers doesn't make sense to use any. The kicker is right now the 3 and 5 night have the 18% gratuity added but the 10 night doesn't add it which makes it a better value.
  15. For those who have done transatlantics before.. Do you do any of the dining packages? We'll be on the 15 night Odyssey in October and debating if we want to do a 3 night package at $266 for two with gratuity included, the 5 night for $410 with gratuity included, or the 10 nighter for $590 total price, or no dining package at all. There is no unlimited and hasn't been so far. We generally do the unlimited dining for most of our week long cruises, but I keep going back and forth on if we want any sort of a package for this long cruise. The 10 nighter seems like the best deal but it's so much food..
  16. Majority of the time, the bottles of water sit on the counter at most bars so they're room temp when you order them.
  17. Otherwise just getting a duplicate room key will also work, correct?
  18. So I'm likely to have a similar situation. Myself and a friend in cabin 1, my wife and friend in cabin 2. Obviously myself and wife will share a cabin and then friend 1 and 2. I just need to go to gs and ask them to make new room key for my wife so she can get into my room and friend 1 a new room key to access their room? Then each would have their sea pass card to charge stuff and a basic room key, or am I not understanding correctly?
  19. Maybe a dumb question.. I currently have a room booked for my wife and I. We're potentially adding a 2nd cabin with two additional people. Is there a charge to remove my wife from the current cabin and put her in the new cabin? And then essentially add passenger 3 to my cabin and passenger 4 to my wife's cabin? And then is it as simple as getting different room cards once onboard? Thanks.
  20. I wonder if my prime discount would work for one day.
  21. Can I buy just a single day at the end of the cruise?
  22. Next month we have our first ever 3 day cruise. My plan is to use my diamond internet day when we set sail, then use my wife's the next 24 hours, leaving us only missing one day of internet. Dumb question, but I've always bought the internet ahead of time, for that one day, basically the last day of the cruise, how do I purchase the one day of internet and use my diamond/prime status discount for the $20 or whatever it is per day?
  23. I wouldn't spend 20k on a suite but have I dropped 20k in the casino over a week? Absolutely. To each their own.
