Thanks, Maryann. Today, we "celebrate" 10 weeks since the newest war in our region started. In the last days, the number of air raids has diminished, and today we decided to "breath some air" and take the risk that an air raid will find us without a shelter.... Went for a barefoot walk on our local beach, taking advantage of the amazing weather for mid-December. There were even some brave souls in the water. We came home safely. Some pictures ---

Well done, they look tasty. Can't comment on recipe, since DH is doing his own "thing". As a "sous chef", all I know is that I've peeled lots and lots of potatoes....😉

After all that's happening in our lives lately (Covid, and in mine also war), I say: "live for today". I'm seeing the lights as a long term investment.

I've already bought the first two in VF's series, to get the "feeling" after I'll finish the Prey. Also bought the 2 Letty books.

I've started reading the "Prey" series after @bobmacliberty recommended it. I'm now on #30, and "Judgment" is #33. Dreading the day I'll finish the series, all his books are awesome. And, of course, bought the Connelly one too. Thanks for the reminder. Read all his books.

Thank you, Mark. It is amazing how quickly you revert to "normal" and how hard is to "restart".... At least, DH keeps delivering for our eldest son and me excellent and varied comfort food.... This Friday he tried for the first time stuffed peppers 😉 My "contribution was" mashed potatoes. He managed to squeeze another small yellow pepper in the middle....

Thank you, Bonnie. It is really hard to get back into the mood of air raids... We had 8 days of respite, and a modicum of happiness with some of the hostages coming home. Still waiting for the youngest, 9 months old "human shield" and his older brother, 4 years old. We managed to replenish some of the "required" energy to keep going, even met a week ago dear HS friends, who came from another city, to eat with us our favorite ice cream 😉
