The key word here is "seems".... The main points of interest in Jerusalem are in the old city, with narrow streets/lanes. Besides, the traffic to and from Jerusalem is horrendous. In one word (or two), I wouldn't attempt it alone. A reliable private tour company + suite with priority perks will be the only way to go. On second thoughts -- you don't have another stop in Haifa? That will give you the advantage of spending the night in Jerusalem and then travel from there to Haifa, to board the ship again.

That will make him 45 years old... I remember vividly this day, John Lennon's, as well as the day of President Kennedy's assassination.

Wow, so many dishes. I like the way you "think" 😉 Since we're 7 hours ahead of you, DH was asked by our dinner friends to prepare some kind of salmon ceviche. He marinated the salmon, cut it in small cubes, added small cubes of avocado, smallish cubes of persimmon, purple onion, slightly grilled pine nuts and squeezed half a lemon. Delish.... and no leftovers. The other dish was pasta which he prepared himself, "teared" it and mixed it with his own recipe of Bolognese sauce. Shredded parmesan cheese on top. Myself - I've baked the fluffiest, airiest cheese cake ever. 2/3 -- 5% fat white cheese, 1/3 - 9%. The "trick" was 5 eggs, with the whites whipped to a "flexible foam" and then slowly "integrated" into the cheese.

@Sea Dog Greg, how are your preparations for dinner with friends coming along? Is Linda better? Have fun tonight.... DH has just invented a new dish today, and it was a smashing success all around.

My heart skipped a beat when I've started reading "hiccup"... Feared with all the "family "inter"-"relationships" the wedding was postponed.... I own a vintage ("Druout", 1999, 450$) LV handbag, didn't keep the dust bag... Saw the same on Beyond, pristine condition for 1900$. Sales lady mentioned that "vintage" demands a higher price....
