  1. Ours (the cruise before yours) opened at 6pm Montreal time… good luck 🤞🏻👍🏻
  2. Sometimes I wonder if they produce these rules & regulations by getting 20 people in the room where they all put an idea in a hat then they pick the winner out and just post it on their website before actually reading it or discussing it at all… 😱🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. Yes I saw that also as we visit Greece, so for us no real change other than the potential of more unvaccinated guests onboard
  4. Completely agree, on our last test at the port & onboard Both my wife & I had 2 different experiences, she had the swab right up the nose & I just got skimmed around the edge 🤷🏼‍♂️
  5. Agreed, unfortunately/fortunately it doesn’t really change anything for us as we will be visiting Greece on our sept cruise but regarding what you say I’m wondering how much they will be checking the required info where some cruises they might not need to check so much vs the ones they do…
  6. All guests ages 2 and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result to board their sailing. A negative test result from any commercially available test, including self-tests, will be accepted. Tests do not have to be monitored or proctored. Test results may be presented as a printout, screenshot or photo of the test result or the actual test. this is from the Europe/Italy section
  7. Celebrity being celebrity… being updated a few weeks ago from June 12th everyone needs to be vaccinated now a few weeks later know one is required to be vaccinated on most/certain cruises… plus you can just take a photo of any negative test you can find and that’s perfectly acceptable to board the ship and spread as many covid germs as you want… 😱🤷🏼‍♂️ unless I’m reading the site incorrectly… but given the usual confusing website I guess I could be wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️
  8. I had been checking ours (16th sept) all day today as it said it would open on the 1st… it actually opened around 6pm Montreal time, Good luck 👍🏻
  9. Totally agree with these balcony’s, We we’re lucky to get one of these via a move up bid and since then we always look to try and get one of these if available, especially one of the ones on deck 6 on the s class ships as the first 2 on the slant actually fall in the cheapest balcony category (6210 has the larger balcony) the obstructed view isn’t really a problem so for us it’s great value 😎
  10. I’ll be honest we seem to be the odd balls regarding this, We’ve done over 20 cruises mainly on celebrity and stayed in all the cabins below the suite class but due to the lower pax numbers onboard our cruise last September we had the opportunity to upgrade to a suite onboard the second cruise of our B2B and whereas we enjoyed aspects of the experience we were really happy we wasn’t experiencing it from booking it outright and paying the full rate, We paid a fixed rate onboard for the upgrade and only did this as we had such a great deal already and the cruise was super cheap to start with so it made it an ok experience for us. Now, would we do it again… for sure we would if given a similar opportunity however would we pay the full rate for a suite on celebrity… I doubt it very much but never say never I guess but we will for sure enjoy our standard balcony cruises in the future as much as we did before the suite experience. 🍸😎
  11. Looking forward to following along, we board the Reflection in September so you will help us get through some of the wait 👍🏼 Hope you enjoy the suite life and hope you have a fabulous cruise 🍸😎
  12. I guess better to be safe than sorry and just fill it in anyway, it’s free and only takes a couple of mins to do 😊
  13. Thanks for sharing your experience. It was a very interesting read and lots of info to note. We self reported symptoms last September in the middle of a B2B on the Apex and did so as we both felt a bit funny at the beginning of switch over day… we were a little hesitant as we do generally feel a few effects of cold symptoms towards the middle/end of a cruise maybe from too much a/c and just general bugs around the ship but due to the current climate at the time we just felt obligated to do so as we wanted to be sure, we actually tested negative for 3 days running so was actually released from isolation from the doctor so it wasn’t as bad for sure and we were able to stay in our cabin which was nice as we had gotten upgraded to a suite for the second cruise so at least we had a bit more space etc. would we self report again for the same symptoms I’m not sure… I know we should but also knowing what we normally go through I think our plan of attack would be to take along some self tests do do ourselves and take it easy for a couple of days if tests are negative and just stay away from the crowds etc, we are pretty quiet people anyways and still use our masks everywhere there’s a crowd anyways. hopefully we get to enjoy our cruise without any issues but for sure it will be in the back of our minds the potential issues with travel at these times… We will continue to do what we can to stay safe and keep our fingers & toes crossed. 🤞🏻🍸😎
  14. Hi All, We have a cruise leaving from Civitavecchia and just wondered if anyone has recently cruised from there and gotten the required antigen test locally, I’ve read it’s pretty widely available across the big city’s in Italy these days but we will be travelling to Civi 2 days before the cruise so will need to get it there (unless the requirement is dropped by September 🤞🏻) locations & price info would be helpful if anyone has that 😊
  15. Apologies if it’s already been asked & answered but do you know who the current Captain & CD is on the Reflection?
  16. I booked the cheapest balcony for a 9 night equinox cruise in Jan 2024 around a month ago and the refundable extra charge was at around $1600CAD then a couple of weeks ago it went down to around $500 and todays it’s now $2100… 🤷🏼‍♂️
  17. Maybe, but not sure why if it’s the same policy being offered… 🤷🏼‍♂️
  18. That’s not good, we were on the Apex last September and was quarantined for 3/4 days with suspected covid but tested negative each day before being released by the doctor. We were informed we would get the credit certificate on the last day of the cruise and that’s exactly what happened. hope you manage to get it sorted quickly, I just don’t understand why this isn’t a straightforward process for everyone involved especially as the ships have been dealing with this for months now…
