Has anyone one ever done the 3 day/2 night cruisetour with NCL before or after their cruise? Was it worth it in you opnion?

DW, friends and I are taking a NCL cruise from Civitavecchia. We are arriving in Rome 3 days ahead of the cruise. We will probably use the frist days to walk around eat near our hotel or Airbnb. The second day we want to visit the Colosseum and Vatican. Any suggestion on how best to do this? Any combination tour anyone has doe and can reommned them? Any other sites we should see in Rome? Please any other suggestion or advise we be very helpful, thank you.

DW and I along with dear friends are thinking of taking a 12 day cruise which includes a stop in Katakolon port. from my research Katakolon is very small and not much to do. Olympia is 45 minutes away. We will be there from 9:00am to 6:00pm Questions: Do you have any suggestion for excursion on own own or through the ship? Is is feasible to do an excursion on your own in Olympia becuase of travel time? In Katakolon a tender port? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated?

How can you find out in is a tender port or not. We are considering a cruise on the Carnival Magic which is an ols ship 130K tons. Can this size ship dock in most ports?

We are sailing this weekend on Celebration. I booked a GTY Balcony about 65 days out and recieved the assigned cabin a few days later .

I am sailing on Celebration next week. Teppaniki was avialble for a few months then about five days ago it disappeared so I thought is has sold out but it reappeared yesterday. Maybe this is what is happening on your bookings. call Carnival to see if yuo can reserve it over the phone.

Just purchase the Cheers package for next week using the AARP gift cards. I do not see the Cheers Packages anywhere on my booking. I would like to take proof of the purchse with me. Any suggestion on what I can take? Also how can I spend the money remaining on my Gift card?

Great Review. Question about AARP gift cards. I leave this upcoming Sunday and i want to get the AARP gift card to save money on the Cheers package. It state I will recieve an email within 24 hours. Has anyone ever had any issue with this. I only have a few daysand i tried calling AARP to ask but I have been on hold for ever. What happens if i do not get tge gift card. Please help.

DW and I want to do a Carnival Kitchen on our cruise but the classes do not have the menu. Is there a website we can see what item they cook for the classes? Does it start at midnight the day of? Do you need to complete the the check in to get a port boarding time? Steps to get the boarding time?

DW and I are sailing in 17 days. I booked the cruise for our 25th Wedding Anniversary two months ago. This will be our 15th cruise for the frist 12 cruises due to either budget concerns or the fact that we do not genrally drink a lot of alcohol we never get the a drink package. On the last 2 cruises we sailed with NCL and got the free drink package and we really enjoyed the freedom to tring different drinks without worring about the cost. That being said we keep going back and forth about paying for the $1,000 package this time. From most review we have seen people say you at least need to drink 6 alcohol drinks a day minimum to get your money's worth of course it has other drinks like soda, water, speciality coffees and energy drinks. We generally drink the free coffee, we drink tap water, and bring a case of water with us for the room, we usually bring soda from home for my wife and we do not really drink energy drinks. Of course if we get the package we will probably drink the speciality coffee instead of the free coffee, we would probably drink a lot bottle water, my wife would probably have at least a couple of sodas a day. So my questions can anyone speak to the value of the drink package if you generally do not drink more that 5 or 6 alcohol drinks a day? Please help any advise is appreciated, thank you.
