  1. I could but I would not trust that info would be the same on a cruise. I think it would be pretty easy to go over the plans 1G included and the next increment is a charge for every 100MB. Particularly on a long cruise it would be difficult to keep under 1G. Could be a costly plan. The plan seems to be intended for people who want to text and phone calls and not use data. `On Royal Caribbean where the free internet loyalty perk is days not minutes that kind of sinks the OP’s strategy. I have successfully used the OP’s strategy in Europe on Celebrity and Princess 10 and 11 day cruises when the loyalty perk was minutes. The 240 minutes was plenty for sea days and whatever Princess was giving was enough too. I used the $10 travel passes at ports. That strategy with the included days only worked for me on Royal Caribbean when two of the ports were Cozumel and Costa Maya which were included in my cell plan and I paid $10 at two other ports and I was able to use a free WiFi day at the end. Giving days free instead of minutes makes me think Royal knows some of us savvy types would game them. Thinking about the world cruise problem I think I would just suck it in for any of the three days at sea I was not able to have internet and do without. If there were ten sea days like on a transatlantic I would spend the $400 plus. I don’t think I would for 3 sea days.
  2. Got ya. I have the largest iPhone. I wouldn’t even attempt to read or post to Cruise Critic on the small phone you upgraded too. But you have your iPad. It is not necessary for you to read and post from your phone. If you felt it was you might have upgraded to a larger phone. And even on a larger phone reading and posting can be tough.
  3. The plan OP is looking at only works on the ship when at sea.
  4. On the MyAT&T app. I have an unlimited plan with one line and it shows 4.35 Gigabytes with 9 days left. And that is with most of my internet use being on my home WiFi.
  5. In a pinch when I don't have my computer or iPad with me I hold my iPhone in landscape orientation. That helps a little. It is not just reading and typing but it is easy to miss the touch points on the Cruise Critic design on the mobile version. It is frustrating after typing a reply and somehow my finger misses and causes it to disappear.
  6. I don't think so. I don't see how. Could you give a hint as what you are thinking?
  7. That is a good point about the $10 a day maxing out at 10 days per billing cycle.
  8. Summit had extra cabins added a couple of times.
  9. Yep Harbour Nights was pleasant when docked in Hamilton and walking off the ship. When docked at the Dockyard I skipped it most of the time. It is nice if you are already there. The vendors in recent times not as good but the local Gombey dancers are always a treat. The Portuguese Donuts by a vendor at Harbour Nights are really good. I had excellent Dark and Stormys at Flanigans accross the street whether it was Harbour Night or not.
  10. The AT&T cruise plan is on Cellular at Sea so no problem with roaming charges. The reason AT&T can offer a cruise plan is that AT&T owns Cellular at Sea. If your phone has esims I suggest looking into Airalo. Mobal might do esimns too. You can use your phone and you don't need physical sim cards. Newer phones have esims and my newest phone only has two esims. This has turned out to be much better than swapping physical sim cards.
  11. If the phone has an esim there are a number of esim providers for the ports. Airalo is a good one. The only problem is you won't be using your own phone number.
  12. The AT&T cruise plan might be good for passengers who only use voice and text. If you use data I could forsee going over. Smartphones use alot of data and a lot of apps use data in the background. I have background data turned off but some apps like the weather app don't turn off data.
  13. I have seen this on Celebrity and is annoying as some do it during peak lunch time What are thy thinking? Ask a crew member to find table space.
  14. Did you check your spam folder for the reset email? I have had reset emails get marked as spam.
  15. The software can do a dark mode theme but as you say it may not be desired by management. Another solution is that there are dark mode web browser extensions that a user can install. They exist for Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
  16. And to add to your post most call center reps have to move on as they have a quota of how many calls they have to answer per hour.
  17. The customer service reps are drones at call centers or working remote from home in Central America. The answers they give are scripts on a computer screen. They might be contracted out. You are wasting your time and their time.
  18. When I went it was also sold out for months and I could not get a ticket in advance. The staff at the tourist kiosk at the airport told us if we took the bus to Blue Lagoon we might be able to get a ticket there since it was early morning. We had arrived at 6:30 am. Our hotel check in was in the afternoon. We figured it was worth a try since if we didn’t get in we could take another bus into Reykjavik as the ride to and from were included in the bus ticketing if you took the bus to Blue Lagoon. If we had not gotten into Blue Lagoon the hotel would have stored our luggage and we could have done stuff in Reykjavik before check in. It turned out we were able to gat a ticket into the lagoon at Blue Lagoon.
  19. Okay. I didn’t know there were two ports. I only saw the other one. Probably most people don’t fly in the day of the cruise. Last time I flew to Reykjavik my flight was canceled and the I was delayed a day as the same flight the next day was the next flight.
  20. There are restaurants. My suggestion though is OP should not do the NCL transfer. There is a desk at the airport to buy tickets to Blue Lagoon and they will drop off in town. Blue Lagoon has luggage storage. They will also take you back to the airport if they want to stick with the NCL transfer. Blue Lagoon is near the airport and they have luggage storage. They could also just get a transfer without Blue Lagoon. There are plenty of restaurants near the cruise port.
  21. Do Blue Lagoon. https://www.bluelagoon.com/book/packages
  22. They take credit cards. When you eat at restaurants in Bermuda most have a service charge. so check the bill before adding a tip. There is no tax so you won’t see that.
  23. You only need cash for the shuttles or taxis. Credit cards are accepted everywhere but Discover Card is not accepted and some shops don’t accept AMEX. If you have a card that does not charge foreign transaction fees use that.
  24. Don’t convert for any purchase. The USD is equal value to Bermuda currency. You really can’t convert. You could get Bermuda currency at a bank or ATM but you would have to spend it all or what is left will be a souvenir. It is not exchangeable.
  25. I usually have got them between 8:30 and 9. They might start earlier like around 8 but I have not been there to catch them earlier.
