  1. You can also see what cabins are available on one TA's website, even if you don't book with them.

We're not allowed to link to TAs, but if you Google "American Discount Cruises", you'll figure it out.

Once you find a cabin location you like, you can call Virgin and request the change.

  2. Someone who will remain nameless once posted on here a tale of pinching a set of salt & pepper shakers from one of the dining rooms, and bringing them home as a souvenir. I'm wondering if that became a trend and they've had them removed, or if they are just waiting for them to be replaced.

What choice do I have though if 20 days pass and still no refund?

Lots of folks seem to be getting their refunds quickly with one simple request.

Did you ever think that calling every day with anything close to the attitude displayed here probably isn't helping?

I hope you get a refund soon so this doesn't keep popping up in various threads, and I hope you find a cruise line you like.

  4. We once made a 9:50am flight out of Port Everglades/FLL with plenty of time to spare, we just made sure we were in the first walk-off group, and grabbed the first taxi we saw. No time to wait for an Uber.

You should have no problems clearing customs if this is just a closed-loop Caribbean sailing, but arrivals from Transatlantic sailings sometimes get more attention/scrutiny.

I have only the option to do a full payment online . That would be over 5k . And then ? I would need to ask VV to return it to me once the rebooking is succeesfull. But you know how it is once money has been sent ….

Things may be different refund wise between countries, just inform your TA to not let the suite go. There must be a way for them to extend the hold considering the circumstances.

Well never again after pricing to Europe,

Don't book Colorado to UK......book your flights to the UK from a major hub that has more competitive pricing, like NYC, Boston, or DC, and then book a separate flight to the hub you'll be flying out of. You'll save lots of money this way.

I think we made out pretty well 8 days in an Aft Suite even bigger terrace for $3800 with $700 in sailor loot and $600 in bar tab.  This will be our first cruise with Virgin.

We upgraded from a regular Terrace to a Sweet Aft Suite Even Bigger Terrace for the 12 day sailing from Portsmouth to Barcelona. When you see a price of $230 pp/pd to sail as a rock star, you jump on it.

We’ve however gone for the Barcelona to Athens cruise as it is a fantastic price and offers more interesting stops.

We chose Portsmouth to Barcelona, so you'll be boarding her the day we disembark.

Now I need to decide which airport we'll fly into and where we'll stay.

well no one seems to have complained about Resilient Lady moving from Athens to Portsmouth for late summer 2024, so I guess those bookings were very very low,

Low European bookings both this season and next are the main reason for all of the changes.

Celebrity & Virgin took a beating this summer.

Where can you see which cabins are available Iif you aren’t a TA)?

I don't think the link is allowed but google "American Discount Cruises"

It's not the easiest site to navigate, but in their booking engine you can see available cabins.
