There are a lot of factors that can affect sailing times including weather, tides, local labor issues, etc.

As they like to say at VV, "Ship Happens"

Looks like the welding has stopped, and they are currently spraying the area with a high pressure hose, My guess is they are checking for leaks.

I believe I saw a new sail-away time of 10PM somewhere.

This couple was on the TA in April, and one of them had to work remotely, Xoom calls, etc.
They discuss it in this new Youtube vid.

If it shows no suites available, and you're already past final payment, the chances of aren't very good.

The parking garage is right in front of the terminal

Is it a BS offer or a "just in case someone cancels last minute"....
Is there any chance of actually getting a suite?
Yes, it's an excellent way for VV to find out what everyone is willing (or not willing) to pay.
We live in a day where information is king.

As contracts expire, don't be surprised if the other venues lose their names. BB King's, Rolling Stone etc....the licensing of these names doesn't come cheaply. CCL has HUGE debt. You can still have a blues club without BB's name.

The bigger question here is why does ccl need this headline? Why now? Why Hal?
People tend to react to "news" differently than advertising.

Licensing cost big $$$, and CCL still has a ton of debt to pay off.
They can easily have a classical music venue without the tie-in, but cruise lines love to drop names.

what experiences do people have with VV booking their airfare?
They really don't discount air like the other lines. At least not yet.
You'll get much better pricing to San Juan if you fly out of Miami.

Lots of N/A choices. No worries.

If the main person on the booking agrees in the online check-in process that they paying for the other guest, yes.

Have the hotel store your luggage after check-out and grab an early lunch somewhere.
Don't limit yourself to the hotel's shuttle, the port is just a short Uber/Lyft ride from most hotels in the area.

We are really just looking to buy bacardi special reserve and other bottles
They have the 10 year old, which you can buy anywhere, and then a hand bottled 12 year old, which was considerably more expensive than the 10. Not worth it in my mind, and I used to sell a ton of Bacardi in the wholesale biz back in the 80s.
For an extra $10, they'll etch your name on any bottle with a laser.

You'll need to avoid anything with the Diva (drag queen)....even Bingo will be peppered with innuendo.
To stay on the safe side, your best bet is to enjoy the musical entertainment.

And one of the nice things is that other than generally being too loud for my admittedly sensitive ears (I tend to wear earplugs) the sound is really crisp and clear. Nothing distorted and overdriven.
With Virgin's history as a record label, I'm sure they spent a ton on acoustical engineering and design.
Most ships, other than the theater, are nothing but huge echo chambers.

Lots to choose from. The best music I've heard on any cruise ship,

French Daze & Ibiza Nights port time changes
in Virgin Voyages
Posted · Edited by CineGraphic
There's a few folks out there that insist the decision was made to save money. They have no idea that times can be changed for something as simple as mandatory slower speeds due to things like whale migration. A few years ago, we had to miss an entire port, (Saguenay, Quebec) due to this very reason.
