  1. You can only cash-out your winnings, not un-played loot.
  2. They can be used in both, but you have to specify. Speak to whoever is in the casino cashier cage. For table games they give you promo chips. For slots, they load the amount to your bracelet. The cashier will explain everything.
  3. Pam and I changed our minds at least twice after submitting the form last week, so we had our TA call in to sort everything out. It took a while to get through, but we are now booked on the Resilient's September 29th, 12 night sailing: UK to Spain & Morocco, and were able to do a paid upgrade to an aft suite. The new booking shows up on both the web & app. I hope that everyone is able to book something that makes them happy. I believe that Virgin is doing it's best to satisfy everyone since the created the problem in the first place. It's the right thing to do. All of our previous perks were moved over to the new booking. Most lines would only give you the current perks, if anything.
  4. Yes, and yes. Speak to whoever is in the casino cashier's cage
  5. We've changed our minds regarding which substitution sailing to book twice since I submitted our form the other day. Our TA tried all morning to get in touch with VV with no luck.
  6. The drinking age for cruises that depart from Miami is 21. Sailings that depart from Europe, the drinking age is 18.
  7. He's retiring and being replaced...announced at the same time as the new itineraries. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/virgin-voyages-announces-550-million-in-funding-led-by-ares-management-to-further-accelerate-growth-301921522.html
  8. Yes, you can request a different cabin. If you booked directly with Virgin, call them. If you used a TA, have them call on your behalf.
  9. The rep I spoke with the other day assured me that everything you qualified for with the initial booking would be moved over to the new booking.
  10. How is processing something earlier than promised dropping the ball? Inconsistent, yes. Dropping the ball, not so much. Since Virgin created the problem in the first place, the sooner they can find a fix and make a guest happy, the better.
  11. 2 or 3 times is often? So be it. And you keep saying that they cancelled your cruise and gave it to someone else, which isn't really the case at all, but that's your take on it. Vive La Difference! As unhappy as you are, this is as good as it gets in the cruise biz these days. If your TA is worth their weight in salt, they will see that you are accommodated. It is possible to sail not as a rockstar and still have a good time, and get a bit of a refund too. You won't be limited to the current list of available cruises as more become available on the 11th.
  12. Apparently offering a replacement cruise, any number of days, and any itinerary at the same price, while honoring all of your booking extras, and throwing in another $600 in goodwill isn't enough to make some people happy. All I know is we paid $2400 for cruise, and we'll end up having $2200 in loot and bar tabs, so you won't hear me complaining.
  13. Yes, because basically you can choose any itinerary, any length. We were going to switch to the Scarlet TA as well, but decided that it might be too crowded.
  14. I think anyone who tries to attach files is having problems with uploading.
  15. And they will take great care of you. Don't worry, enjoy!
  16. Don't be surprised if the 8 day itinerary is changed to a 14 day itinerary. It's been listed as both on different VV forms. When I spoke with a phone rep today, they referred to it as a 14 day sailing as well.
  17. Currently, anything with an attachment doesn't seem to be going through.
  18. It's listed on the form to request rebooking as 14 days, as is the cruise before it.
  19. We've decided to sail the 3/23/24 14 day sailing San Juan to Miami even though we don't know the itinerary yet. I called earlier today in hopes that someone would know, but no such luck. One thing's for sure, it' will be a Caribbean itinerary. lol. We'll end up with $2200 in loot, for a sailing that set us back $2400. I'm not complaining at all.
  20. Believe what you want, but they clearly opted to accommodate the sailings with higher booking rates, and the re-booking offer is generous. We'll end up with $2200 in loot and bar tabs for a cruise that only cost us $2400.
  21. The itinerary is more attractive....with ports they don't get to from Miami based sailings.
  22. There were more people booked on the San Juan based sailings than the Miami based sailings, so they chose to inconvenience a smaller amount of people. Makes sense to me.
