  1. I would love this! I want to sink into my mattress like it has no bottom.
  2. Interesting. I can see the Stay Cool Soda Package in the shops, but I cannot add it to my cart.
  3. If you drink 6 cocktails or 3.5 sodas a day, you break even. What many people do not factor in are the days when that may not be as convenient like port days. You will have to fit all those drinks in just a evening after dinner if you have an all day excursion and your ancestors cry if you do not break even at the end of the cruise. 36 drinks by the end of the six day cruise or shame on your family. Frankly most people do not break even or Carnival would have discontinued the program long ago. I find I am often too full on food to drink my break even.
  4. Yes, your card will be in your mailbox, but I have never heard of anyone having their card used in this manner before they get it. There was much speculation when this process started that this would happen, but I have never heard a credible example and this has been in place for several years now.
  5. Yes, you may ignore arrival time and arrive at your leisure with FTTF. I tested it in December and then again in February in Tampa and Port Canaveral. Arriving at 9:30 am for my 10:30 and then 11:30am check in times. I was just pointed to the Priority check in line.
  6. And you do not think they will be able to do that in several years? I have made an outlook reminder to come back to this thread March 6th, 2026. We shall see.
  7. I do, it really bothers me! My Wife is usually ready to go home, but I have never reached that point. I want to cruise forever.
  8. Yes, we always just have a seat play some cards and wait until the last few are disembarking as we are just driving home and are in no hurry. This also makes everything easier for us. Luggage easy to find, no lines when leaving, just a lot nicer. As others have said. 9:30 to 10 is about right. We have never been on a ship after 10:15 on debarkation day.
  9. It is per room and you will need their info, but you can check in at the 14 day mark, fill out a check in time and all your info and go back anytime in the 14 days before the cruise and fill in the childs info.
  10. Might want to consider Faster to the Fun if it is available. Cost is $149, but it would allow you to show up at the terminal at any time. I checked in at 9:30 in December with FTTF.
  11. Sloppy drunk needs to be against the rules. Carnival has let behavior on their ships just slip too far into the unacceptable. No one minds the happy quiet drunk.
  12. John Heald only said that porters would be kept late, the tunnel being closed and reports of people missing the ship came from other peoples comments in the thread. John Heald - For those of you trying to get to Carnival... | Facebook
  13. Sorry, I miss so much more than I like about the new Carnival. If I could step back in time to the old small ships and processes of the past, I am there. I do appreciate that new cruisers do not know what they are missing so old cruisers griping's sound silly, but it was so nice compared to cruising now.
  14. This! Unfortunately, this is our new normal with Carnival. Maybe it will get better several years from now when the stock is back above 30.
  15. I love this and hope they mean it, but we have to see some enforcement.
  16. Sorry, I will have to defer to someone who know more about that. I have not self debarked without FTTF in years. My second to last cruise on the Pride though (December 2022) I self debarked with FTTF and I was asked to meet in a certain location and we were guided off the ship. I can only assume this was before the regular self debark was released.
  17. I have been on the Elation and the Liberty twice and I love them both, but the Liberty is better. Elation's refit was poorly conceived.
  18. Exactly as MZ-S said. Celebration has far too many people on it to be able to seat them all in the MDR. They either have to keep those other venues open or get creative in some other way.
  19. That all really depends on what check in time you are able to snag. If you got a 10am check in time, you realistically are probably never more than half an hour behind your parents boarding the ship. They will get to pick check in time at 16 days until the cruise and you at 14 days. With FTTF you can show up with them at any time and will board right behind them. Last cruise our friends were platinum and we were not, but we did have FTTF, we actually passed them while boarding the ship as they stopped to take a picture. Off the ship is a little more of a difference sometimes. Platinum and FTTF will be invited to a location to wait for priority debark and it will even have snacks. Then they will be guided off the ship all at once. without FTTF or priority status, you will debark by your assigned number they call unless you use self debark and carry all your own luggage off the ship.
  20. Oh my! I heard that was such a mess this year and that the Marathon shut the tunnel down and many people could not get to the ship. John Heald even talked about it on his facebook page. Can the tunnel be skipped by coming in from Biscayne blvd?
  21. There is no real limit. We had six suitcases for two on our 12 day cruise and no one batted and eye.
  22. My best deal was not a casino offer. March 2020, the last cruise if the Carnival Liberty before full shutdown. $258 for a balcony for two total cost. I booked it two days before it sailed. Was also maybe our best cruise ever. Ship practically empty.
  23. Yes, same here. Oasis was not for me, but Serenade of the Seas was one of my best cruises ever.
  24. Yes, afternoon tea is back, they had it every sea day on both of my cruises so far this year Pride and Liberty. Like everything else it is slightly diminished though, just fewer selections brought out.
  25. Sorry to hear about this. Changing cabins can easily be accomplished once onboard if not before. Just go to guest services and let them know. They will make the change and issue new keys.
