I have an arrival time of 10am next week and this guy on YouTube claims he entered the Terminal at 9:10 a few weeks ago. Unfortunately that does not mean that your cruise will not be boarding late.

I agree, the smaller ships are better, I think the pinnacle for me is Spirit, but what we think matters little to Carnival.

Yep, their days are numbered. They just don't make the money that something like an Excel class makes.

I worked for a company 15 or so years ago who threw a giant convention every year and it was just an excuse to wine and dine our clients, but we were in a club they had rented out in downtown Chicago and they had hire Jason Derulo to sing. I was taking pictures to send back to my kids. CEO walked over, asked if he could use my phone and deleted all my pics. He handed it back to me and said, no pics, almost everyone here is married to someone else and what happens here stays here. That company was pure evil though, felt like working for the devil.

I think I saw someone talking about this earlier, but I cannot find it. I just checked in for my April cruise and faster to the fun appears on my luggage tags, but not my boarding pass. Anyone used FTTF recently? How is this working now? My boarding pass shows a boarding group of B07. Thanks

I pay before the cruise now, especially since tips are going up day after tomorrow, but I like that it does not hit my bill during the cruise. Frankly that is why so many people remove gratuities in my opinion. Cruise is almost over and how much they paid might be weighing heavily on them and then $400 hits their sail and sign account and they think oh crap, I already thought I spent too much on this cruise. Then it starts creeping into their head that they could dodge this charge with just a few minutes of shame. People will do a lot for a few dollars.

No, if Carnival a couple of years ago was not to your liking, they have gotten worse not better. I love Carnival, but service has degraded since then. Room service was probably still twice a day back then and is once now, menu items have gotten cheaper, not better and service in places like the MDR are just overworked and spread too thin. Now, why I prefer Carnival over Holland. I took a picture of the pool on Holland on a sea day a few years ago on our 11 day cruise and many old people were just sitting around it reading books. I need a little more life in my cruises.

Yes, they will. Last November they were trying not to provide menus and would push back a little, but that change by our December cruise. Enough people must have complained. I know that turning my phone off and not touching it again for a week is a big part about what I love about cruising. I also do not want to see a new broadcast new or anything much from the outside world when I cruise.

Love the idea of a drug dog on the ships. We have smelled weed on all three cruises since the restart. Somehow Carnival got the reputation of allowing this and it attracted the wrong crowd.

7:50 for me with FTTF and Self Debark, be aware though that often ships hit a snag and this can be an hour or so later.

Next week is Chris's last week on the Celebration and I lament it as I will be on it in three weeks. The Flying Scotsman is the best cruise director Carnival has in my opinion, but people seem to love Lee also, we shall see.

I have always been a last minute cruiser and until this year that has always worked for us, but of course this year, prices are crazy high for last minute cruises with Carnival and this has not just been the spring break season. How is Carnival capitalizing on this though? Who is paying 2k to get on a four day cruise on the Paradise last minute. Are they flooding casino deals out last minute to fill ships? Other cruise lines are still putting out last minute deals, saw a Balcony room on RCCL to Alaska last week for 1500 and a great Holland and Princess deal this past month that I could not get free for.

I do not remember any booths in the Festivale dining room. I think it was all chairs and tables. We had a booth in the steak house though.

This was always a slight issue due to the way the kitchen works. It's kind of a big deal for him to get someone to make a half portion and now with a skeleton crew I bet it is almost impossible. If I were a Carnival waiter when someone said half portion I would just grab the smallest portion when I went into the kitchen.

We always laugh about this as they once took my wooden completely unsharpened wall decoration shaped like a knife that we bought in the Bahamas and an hour later handed me a serrated ten in long pointed steak knife.

I was also tempted by the front facing balcony, but decided against it due to the wind. I spend a lot of time on my balcony and would hate to find out it was just too windy to sit out there at sea.

I thought the portions had become half portions when I returned to cruising after Covid.

They took my money clip in Port Canaveral. This thing has a one inch blade. I said, I thought very small blades were allowed. They said this counts as hidden so we have to take it. This same blade has also been on 20 cruises before this by the way.

I saw this a few times pre covid. I would have FTTF and open the door to go to my room and several of the people would see me and follow who were not FTTF. Staff really does not say much to anyone who just goes to their room and ignores the signs and then the behavior spreads.
