  1. đŸ€Ź darn it! Will he automatically be released tomorrow (as you would have been today had you not tested neg yesterday)?
  2. Glad to hear you are finally out! đŸ€žthat DH is out tomorrow. Our medallions quit working a few days ago and we had to get new ones from guest services. I understand the batteries are only good for a limited time.
  3. So sorry to hear this đŸ˜„. Was really hoping both of you would get “sprung” today. How nice of DH to offer to stay with you âŁïž
  4. Sandi @StLouisCruisers For your test tomorrow! (And DH the next day, too.) Your racing story sort of follows my “previous life” and Jim was into drag racing and trailered his Camaro around back in the day.
  5. Good afternoon from Olden, Norway. We decided to not tender to shore having been here before and the weather was lousy. Of course, about 2:00 the sun came out đŸ€ŠđŸŒ. Sandi @StLouisCruisers, sorry you guys are having food service problems — that should be priority for those who are sick! Now they are returning the tenders, sleep interrupted again!! Well, was going to post a couple of waterfall pictures I just snapped from our balcony and the gremlins won’t let me attach them! đŸ‘č
  6. đŸ˜± They should just move both of you back to your balcony like they were doing last cruise. We had a guy (for at least the last 11 days of the cruise) in his original balcony cabin right next door to our tender obstructed room on Emerald deck starboard. We have Coricidin HBP for cold and flu in our traveling pharmacy if you would like any. Call 10-324 and let us know. Kay
  7. @StLouisCruisers Sandi — just catching up on the Daily. So sorry to read that that darn bug caught you đŸ„Č! Hope DH stays negative and you can get out of COVID jail Monday. Was hoping to see you again at the M&G yesterday, but opted not to go based on the numbers from last cruise. Get well soon! Kay
  8. Hi, Sandi — Saw this briefly yesterday then lost it đŸ˜± Have made a note now of your number. We are in E623 until Monday then move to C324 for the Norway cruise. We’re doing great and passed our COVID test this morning so are good to go for the second leg đŸ„ł. Hope you did the same! Love the news about not having to test before flying back to the US. Hope to see you around the ship soon. This leg we have been hanging in the Conservatory upstairs (daytime) and Crooners before and after dinner. Kay & Jim
  9. Good afternoon from the Island Princess! Hi, @StLouisCruisersSandi, if you’re still following! My Indy 500 story
. Born and raised about 45 miles from Indy and worked for a division of GM who supplied the external starters for the cars. Every May our division had a garage in Gasoline Alley and employees could volunteer to help “man” the garage for a day (not race day). Of course, these volunteers were just there to relieve the real technicians of the mundane chores. The 2 times I got to go, my assignment (being female and a secretary) meant working the desk and phones. It was really exciting to be in the midst of all the action behind the scenes. Running messages to people in the garages and lots of drivers, team owners, etc. popping in to talk to the real workers. Fun times 🏁🏁 Kay
  10. Hi, Sandi — Pretty sure I spotted you in the DR at lunch (pink shirt, etc), but timing just wasn’t right. We might make it up to your waving spot — Patter says sail away at 6:00, but who knows. Found one of our bags down the hall outside another cabin — was sweating that one because it had all the hiking shoes, coats, etc! We are in E623 this leg then move to C324 for the Norway leg. Kay & Jim
  11. Sandi, great news on finally getting DH's negative result 👏 I know there is a place in the newest version of the Medallion app to upload both your vax card and your test results. I uploaded our vax cards 3 days ago and they are still "pending". Will try this afternoon to upload the test results but don't have a lot of faith in the process. The first two Princess cruises we took after the shutdown, we just had to show up with our original vax cards, hard copy of the test results, passports and medallions. This trip we will also have to have the ArriveCAN code, too (as you well know). Don't forget to do the health assessment, too.
  12. Oh, Sandi đŸ˜±. I would be a nervous wreck, too! đŸ„ł on your negative andđŸ€ž for a negative for DH — and SOON!
  13. Sandi, I did Marine Terminal
hope it’s right đŸ€ž
  14. @StLouisCruisers Sandi, just a shout-out to let you know I have completed our ArriveCAN and got the receipt (QR code). One more thing off the list — 9:00am tomorrow is rapid antigen test at an urgent care, Wednesday am we pick up the rental car and take off for FLL đŸ„ł
  15. Won’t bring with, but will definitely keep two flatware sets in cabin in case of quarantine..can’t stand plastic (or especially) bamboo forks! Will also make sure there are two real wine glasses stashed!
  16. 🍀🍀 I know the feeling! We started the other day and now the suitcases are back on the bed for "tweaking". It was much easier packing for those shorter Caribbean cruises we took earlier...forgotten how to pack for longer and cool weather cruises! đŸ€Ł
  17. Roy @rafinmd Have a wonderful cruise! Kay
  18. A few years ago we did a 14 night that was also sold as two 7 nights. When we got home read here on CC that you can get credit for two if also sold as one. Called Captain’s Circle and indeed did get credit for two cruises. Got us to the now defunct Loyalty OBC.
  19. We are doing an 18 + 16 beginning next week that was also sold as 34. The base fare wasn’t that much different and we will get an extra $250 shareholder, an extra $250 military, and extra for using FCD’s for each cruise in OBC. At the time we booked, we were able to get the same cabin for both legs; subsequently, got a good upsell offer for the second leg so will be moving on turnaround day.
  20. This is a very good tip. I purchased a pressing cloth at a fabric store years ago and it is always in my “cruise laundry bag” with inflatable hangers, some clothespins, Wine Away, a sink stopper, and a small jar with OxyClean powder. Detergent pods are separate.
