I remember when we lived at Patrick AFB. Our backyard was the Banana River. We had to sandbag several times & did take everything off the floors twice. We had a ranch style duplex. Kids still talk about filling sandbags

My essential, hmm. Small roll of duct tape (only one cruise in over 30 didn’t use it or give it away). Extra week of prescription meds. I do bring my own (2 oz travel size) shampoo & conditioner & dry freeze hair spray. I line my suitcase with a cinch type kitchen can trash bag, keeps everything dry (in case of rain) on way to cruise & doubles as a dirty laundry bag going home. I normally do a color palate of black, white & either cobalt blue or hot pink. Everything goes with everything. I too bring a pair of black silk pants. I have to bring a couple pair of shoes as I have foot issues

We can’t get into the classes until next month, we’ll tgat only a couple of days…where did September go??

Something to add to your weather preparedness box, a non electric can opener!! We keep a box with canned chicken, tuna & deviled ham. We also have a hand crank radio (we’ve had it over 45 years & it still works great, no batteries required), several space blankets. Everywhere we’ve ever lived has been a ‘dangerous weather’ area. You should be able to. You can bring a 12 pack of Diet Sprite on board at embarkation. We always bring diet tonic water on board

Off for my second of two Ct scans this week. I’m surviving with these nasty steroids, one week down, five to go. Kat, Athleta is offering discounts minimum 15%. I just got another Pranayama Wrap in the Borealis Green (kind of a jewely teal. It’ll go nicely with my tropical florals that I’m taking in Dec Sherri, hope you’re not running into too much weather with Fiona. My friend in Nova Scotia is hunkering down. Her lobsterman son has brought the boat in. past couple days we’re very falling. Yesterday was rainy & a high of 45. Today back to 70s. Melody
