We have not been on RC since they started putting the drinks onto your sea pass. How do we use up the drinks each day? Do we have to tell the bartender to use the drink 'coupon' or will they do it automatically until the 4 free drinks are used each day?

We are on her in October too and would like to know about the cruise director and if there were any "Beyond the Podium" presentations as well. We always look forward to learning something new.

We are traveling with someone who will need w/c assistance to get on board. Do we have to notify them ahead of time? Or will there be w/c available?

We have MTD for our cruise next month, and have already made reservations for the 4 of us for each night at 7:30. The reason I choose that is because we do the same thing on Celebrity. We never had to wait, and we had the same table and waiters each night. It was ready for us at our reservation time. It worked great. I guess I just assumed RC would be similar. I guess I will see how it works.

We have booked with him in October as well, he was very responsive to email. But did not want any money until about 2 weeks before trip. Looking forward to hearing how your trips go.

I just googled "tides", along with the place and the dates.

We already have our reservations. I was just wondering if they are honored for that time, or if you still had to wait in a long line to be seated.

We have anytime dining and have already made reservations for 7:15 pm each night. But I am hearing that even with reservations the line is long and there is still quite a wait to have dinner. Is this still true? Has anyone had any recent experience with anytime dining? I believe traditional dining times are 5:30pm, and late seating 8:00pm. Those times are a bit early and a little late for us!

We have all been to Portland several times, and one in our party has difficulty walking. Looking for something different to do this October. The ship offers an all day trip on the Conway Railroad. It is what looks like a 1 1/2 hour bus ride to North Conway. Then the train ride to Crawford Depot with lunch. After some time in Crawford, a bus ride back to the Port. Entire excursion is around 8 hours. We are thinking good scenery with leaf color changes. Has anyone done this? It is worth it?

Do you remember where you had lunch?

We booked with Enterprise and their website said they will pick up and drop off. Have not called them yet, but hoping a pick up at the port.

In doing research on Saint John NB, I think an overnight there would be great. You would really get to see/experience the low/high tide changes!

We are in Saint John from 8am to 6pm this Oct. We have rented a car from Enterprise and plan to do the Fundy Trail. I would love some input and suggestions. Our tentative itinerary is: NB-1 straight to Camp Enrage....we will not go as far as Hopewell Rocks....tides are all wrong for us. We will turn around and head back to Alma and drive back through the Fundy N'l Park, entering the Fundy Trail Parkway from there. I have researched the Parkway and have a few spots that we would like to visit. Our walking ability is limited, so no big trail walk for us. We will end in St Martins, check out the sea caves and maybe have a meal at the Caves Restaurant. Then back to Saint John, and if time the reversing tides at Fallsview Park. Has anyone done this? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

We got rooms at the Club Quarters Hotel Faneuil Hall. Looks reasonably close to one of the stops on the Trail.

We have reserved Sydney CB Taxi Tours for our day in Sydney instead of renting a car. Fingers crossed we have nice weather and it works out ok.

We are looking for the same thing in October. We finally settled on Club Quarters Hotel Faneuil Hall, Location looks ok, price was around 400.00, yuck! But we choose the higher price with the free cancelation, We could not find anything cheaper using hotels.com and other such sights, for that area. We have free cancelation, so we will keep looking.

The first time we made reservations, each of us made our own, all at the same time. When we showed up...they had separate tables for all our reservations, and did not have a table to seat us all together. So none of our reservations were honored that trip, we had to get the pager each night and wait for a table large enough for all of us. Since then, one person makes reservations online ahead of the sailing for all members of our party. We have done this many times and have had no issues at all. Always seated at the time of our reservation, always together.

I have not been on RC for some time. I am hearing that cabin service is down to once a day. Up charges are on the DR menu. I am curious about room service. Is it still available for free? We always have ordered coffee, and sometimes breakfast in our room/balcony. Will we be paying for this now?

We are sailing this October, and may not get the drink package......they have gotten rather expensive. I want to make sure I have this right. We are Diamond. So we get 4 drinks a day on our sea card, that we can use anywhere, for any drinks, anytime on the ship? My husband drinks Jack Daniels, and I drink vodka. On Celebrity, he is unable to get Jack with his Elite Plus drink perk.

Sounds like you had a great cruise! Thanks for the reveiw. We are doing the same cruise this December. Just a couple of questions. How does the Elite Happy Hour work? The last several cruises we took we had drink packages and did not use. But we are not getting the packages on this cruise. Is it 3 drinks in any bar on the ship? Only between 5-7? Are there certain drinks you can order? And does it just come off your card? And do you remember what nights were the formal nights? We want to book some specialty restaurants but want to avoid booking on those nights. Thanks,
