We are sailing this October, and may not get the drink package......they have gotten rather expensive. I want to make sure I have this right. We are Diamond. So we get 4 drinks a day on our sea card, that we can use anywhere, for any drinks, anytime on the ship? My husband drinks Jack Daniels, and I drink vodka. On Celebrity, he is unable to get Jack with his Elite Plus drink perk.

Sounds like you had a great cruise! Thanks for the reveiw. We are doing the same cruise this December. Just a couple of questions. How does the Elite Happy Hour work? The last several cruises we took we had drink packages and did not use. But we are not getting the packages on this cruise. Is it 3 drinks in any bar on the ship? Only between 5-7? Are there certain drinks you can order? And does it just come off your card? And do you remember what nights were the formal nights? We want to book some specialty restaurants but want to avoid booking on those nights. Thanks,

We are looking to do this in October. I am guessing the boat ride will show some nice fall foliage. Do you book ahead of time? Or do you just go to the dock and buy a ticket? Are there usually long lines?

We have a rental there as well for October. We gave CC info, but no charge till we check in. We did this years ago without issue. Now I am a bit concerned. If anyone does this rental, let us know the outcome? I will do the same.

We have booked them as well for our October trip. A private tour for 4. Let us know how it goes....we will do the same.

Success! We have a car booked with Enterprise. Now to decide our route. It looks like high tide for us everywhere we go. So a little disappointed that we will miss the low tides. Low tides are around 5am and 5 pm. The ship leaves at 6pm.

We just booked our cruise for this fall and we are looking for a tour in Saint John to the reversing falls, Fundy Trail Parkway, etc. Most of what I have found is already booked. So we are thinking of renting a car and driving ourselves. We are 4 adults. Has anyone done this? Are their any rental areas close to the port or would we have to go to the Airport. The airport looks pretty far away, maybe a good 30 minute drive. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

A hotel with a Hop on Hop Off stop close would be perfect.

I have been looking at hotels in Boston....sticker shock! Have not found anything less than around $400 a night. We will pay what we need to, but would prefer to spend on food, not hotels! So we don't need 5 star. Just location. There are 4 of us, so we would need 2 rooms. Thinking about looking for a airbnb.

I love all of the above ideas. We will be there for a couple days pre cruise, no car. Us girls love to walk and are history nuts, so the Freedom Trail is perfect for us. The guys have some mobility issues, so was thinking of hop on hop off bus ride as well, so they can see some of the sites. Any suggestions for a hotel within walking distance of the Freedom Trail and the hop on hop off? Or at least what 'area' we should look at?

We are booked on a RC cruise out of Boston this October. We will be flying in a day early, to see a bit of the Boston area before embarking on our cruise. We have never been to Boston. Any suggestions for a hotel? Or at least an area that would be appropriate? We will not have a car and will be dependent on Uber. We have lots of Hilton Honor Points, so a Hilton would be nice but not necessary. Thanks

Yes, we did use them. They had a large bus, when full we went straight to the airport, dropping folks off at their airlines arrival area.

We did this in January and had no issues with cars going too fast. Everyone was very nice and patient with us! We had a really great day! There were 6 of us with 3 golf carts.

Hi there! Yes the kids were all able to use Celebrity's free app. They all just downloaded the app on their phones. We all used it to check in with them. The only down side is it does not notify you when you have a new message. We told the kids they needed to check their phone OFTEN to look for new messages. The little ones had to check in every 1/2 hour .....in other words they had to send a message to their parents every 1/2 hour. At least at the beginning of the cruise. Once every one got comfortable, it was not as often. Our kids had a ball. They loved the activities, used the pool (and hot tub when adults were not in them). They played with the 'games' in the kid area and really enjoyed trying all kinds of new foods every night.

We are attempting to get 5 cabins in a row for our family. We will be traveling with 6 kids, but we are unable to get ANY adjoining cabins for March of 2024! When we traveled on Celebrity, we were able to open the balconies on all 5 of the cabins....creating a VERY long balcony and allowing the parents to get in and out of the kids rooms without going into the hall. Will this be doable on the Oasis? We are looking at the balconies facing the sea, not Central Park.

Yes, we just got off the Edge last week, make your reservations for dinner now! If trouble with the website, just call C and they will do it for you. Once on board, most reservations are already gone. You just go when your ready and wait, just like normal restaurants. But on Edge, no close bar or seating to make your wait enjoyable.

We just got back from the Edge in our first IV cabin. We will not book again. Was just a room with a floor to ceiling window. When you open the window....even a crack, the air goes off! We did Hawaii in a SV room many years ago and it was wonderful!!! Go for it!
