I prefer the Fantasy class ships! Less crowds in common areas, and better passenger to crew ratio! And better deals than the mega ships. I will certainly miss the last two when they are gone! -
Question Regarding Jacksonville Florida

When we cruise out of Jacksonville, we stay around Brunswick GA or Kingsland GA. We can get a room there and drive to the port and pay for parking for close to the same price as a park and cruise hotel in Jacksonville. The plus side is that the car is in a secure lot and we are not waiting for a shuttle, taxi, or ride share. -
I brought some black market plastic straws. We even gave some out to other fellow passengers.

We experienced the same thing. They told us to have our passports out and ready getting off the ship. As soon as we got off, we were told that we didn't need them to put them up. No drug sniffing dogs or anything. That is concerning to us.

We haven't cruised out of Jacksonville in almost 10 years. How long after setting sail before the casino opens? I know it is longer than most ports due to having to travel down the river, but don't remember how long.

I have an offer with free drinks anywhere on the ship. What about others in the cabin? If they purchase CHEERS, I'm hoping they don't make me purchase it since I already have free drinks anywhere. We are taking a quick 4 night with three adults just sharing a cabin and are wondering how this will work. Thanks!
