  1. Still usually on grand class ships there are only 40 or so tables in club class how small is the dining room and how many suites are on the ship ?
  2. On every Princess ship I have ever been on only a portion of a dining room is for reserve/club class. There are a finite number of full suites and reserve mini suites
  3. Sorry that should be mocktails
  4. I try not listen to my doctor about some things LOL. But if someone drinks a lot f coffee or cocktails it can still pay off
  5. I haven’t sailed either since restart but in the pre pandemic times really enjoyed the Sapphire
  6. Thank goodness for good CVP’s. I try to never deal with the call center unless I have to
  7. Yep. We enjoy ourselves. Having lunch right now at a diner near my house 2-3 beers with lunch , will have 2 cocktails pre dinner and 2 glasses of wine with dinner. That is probably about a normal day for us if we go out to lunch
  8. As further assurance you can go on the app and go to packages. It will tell you there is no package but will direct you to the cruise personalizer which will show you what you purchased
  9. That pool is pretty small even if people are out there I wouldn’t be concerned. My concern would be on what is above those cabins There is a bar and viewing area During my last cruise in Alaska that was a very popular area early morning for people to gather and look at the coast
  10. Agree so much Years ago long before the pandemic we were offered an upgrade to a full suite for a minimal amount. You guessed now we only sail in full suites
  11. I think my odds are better taking the extra money to my favorite slots in the casino
  12. The elite 10% is they only discount I have seen since the restart
  13. Those parts of Plus 60 have never shown up on my travel summary but they were on my app once I boarded. Don’t worry if you paid $60 per day you have those parts of the plus package
  14. Just like do many sales jobs I had. So glad to be retired
  15. They came up to a lady at lunch in the MDT one day on a recent cruise. They tracked her by the medallion to tell her she had won something
  16. The most expensive wine I ever order is about $18 a glass and just a few times per cruise. I am more likely to drink mixed drinks before and after dinner and sometimes buy a bottle of wine with the 25% discount I get with plus package
  17. U less you are in a suite where you already have 1 free specialty dinner
  18. You might want to check and see if there is a group cruise on your dates where the entire group wants to eat together. This is quite common with TA groups and special interest groups. I would google the ship and date and see what pos up
  19. There has been no confirmation from Princess on a new app. Only one blogger has brought this up. More likely is an update to the current app not an entire new app
  20. We are scheduled to sail the Coral Jan 2025 for one more chance to sail the old locks
  21. Yes it will be open until you hit Canadian waters
  22. Since it is a perk for suites I do not think you need to book in advance. It is kind of like the specialty dining embarkation night for suites you will have it Never had to book the specialty dinner in advance either
  23. Never had a problem with service. People like us who are drinkers would have 8-12 drinks regardless of packages. Back in the 1990’s there were no packages drinks cost like $5 and we had $50 bar bills a day. Packages don’t change behavior just save money
  24. I often have these kinds OBC holds with Princess and they always go away and of course are never on the folio
