I even booked a cruise and 24 hours later Princess cancelled it, I didn’t catch it for 2 weeks since I wasn’t notified and Princess didn’t issue a refund.   3. I just went to the site and I don’t think you can request OBC ahead of time anymore. It looks now that the option is requesting a statement credit. Charge on the ship or for your fare and request a statement credit for those charges. I did the OBC in the past so this is definitely a change
  4. I have been running into Many, Many issues with my bookings over the past few months. I have tried to resolve these issues the traditional way. I have called and waited for an escalation response that never came. I have emailed customer service along with those assigned to manage the departments. I still wasn’t getting anywhere and ended up in the same escalation process with no response. I eventually went straight to the top. I promptly received a phone call/email AND have been assigned someone who is actively working on the issues and is in constant contact. If you aren’t getting the help you need from guest services, change it up and reach out to someone new. Email is usually best as it can be forwarded to different departments. Good Luck Everyone!

  6. You don’t use the TV you stream from your own device since the HDMI option on the Tv’s is reportedly not operational anymore

I have a long cruise coming up and decided to try out a travel projector that connects to your phone, lap top, tablet etc Cue the comments “Why would you want to watch TV on Vacation?” Answer- “Because I Do” Sharing for anyone else who may be interested in a work around since the TV’s seemed to be reconfigured. Amazon has a few, read reviews and connectivity for your particular device.

  11. Doesn’t sound correct. You should only pay $200 Deposit(returned as OBC) Taxes/Fees:Transfers and nothing else.
  12. Everything is constantly escalated and for each issue we were promised a call back…none ever came. I hope your experience is better.
  13. Shareholder OBC has been able to be used for Casino and crew Appreciation even though the website stipulates otherwise. I’m sure this loophole will be closed eventually, so enjoy it while you can.
  14. Different credit cards, I think that is the key. I travel in a cabin mostly with my Mom and our charges including OBC don’t mingle. We use different C Cards

  17. Have you tried ordering from your phone? I ordered 5 Thursday from my phone and it was an easy process.
  18. Yes the value isn’t the same as everything is being devalued but it’s still worth it to those without loyalty to start earning points. **Just a note about Hilton they have a survey site that lets you earn points for taking surveys.
  19. You can still find plenty to book for less. I have all the major chains and never pay 80,000 points. Booking early is key and hotel flexibility will sometimes come into play.
  20. Smart! I wasn’t sure if the OP had any loyalty to a hotel brand and was just advising that they start.
