The Thalassotherapy Pool in the Solarium is a great place to relax. Check out the themed dinners back aft in the Ocean View Cafe. It's a change of pace from the MDR. They make strip steaks, chops, fish, and chicken op the grill to order.

We did a TA on Harmony. The solarium is not enclosed, so if it's raining and windy, it's not a pleasant place to be.

There's no requirement to tip to get ice twice a day along with clean towels every day. Those are normal stateroom duties.

You should be able to get off the ship around 8am or shortly thereafter. Just be aware that some of the taxis won't head out to Red Hook until they fill up.

Celebrity stops at this port (tender) from 7am to 2:30pm. Anything to see/do here other than grab a lobster roll for lunch and wash it down with a craft beer?

I called the Captain's Club to upgrade my Classic to Premium asking for the Elite+ discount. It came out to $14.14 a day for an 11 night sailing, which included the grats.

I suppose if you are Elite+ and never going to make Zenith, just keep the clean towels and services coming.

I didn't think you could hotspot off the ship's wifi?

What's the incentive to Go Green? Does Celebrity pay you not to request these services or is it just virtue signaling?

It used to be $10, then $15, now $40 plus gratuity to upgrade from classic to premium?

Choice Air said current pricing for flight from Lisbon to Barcelona would get you there within the transfer parameters to catch the ship. Cost is $81pp, so that would be your best bet to get to BCN.

If you are renting a car from TPA, take a taxi to the rental car location direct. We made the mistake taking the shuttle outside the pax terminal. They only take you to the airport. From there you have to schlep your luggage thru the airport to the tram station, up the elevator, wait for tram to rental car co-location, down elevator, then search for your rental agency. Even if it costs a few dollars more, take a taxi or uber direct to the rental car area.

I've thought about that, but I'm an optimist. Would book with Choice Air. If we miss the ship in Barcelona, pick it up the next morning in Valencia.

Price for 25 Oct 2024 JS was $2565. Gets into Lisbon 7 Nov. Several of us are flying to Barcelona on the 7th to pick up Celebrity Constellation for the B2B transatlantics.

I had previously paid for wifi upgrade for myself as wife doesn't stream, using non-refundable OBC. With the 9.99 offer, I was afraid to cancel my Elite+ discount and book it not knowing the consequences, so I just booked it for my wife, for 9.99.

My cruise planner says RESERVED for the Premium WiFi Upgrade, just like it says for my excursions. Those are RESERVED and paid for.

I was just told I had the Premium Upgraded Wifi. I can only assume that it is for the entire cruise. When I purchased and went to check out, it didn't ask me which day or how many days I wanted. They goofed up, and when you go back into the cruise planner, they fixed their error. They're just going to have to eat it. Now, when I go into the cruise planner and select the 9.99 upgrade, and I go to check out, it charged me for the full 11 days, $109.89. Before, I was only charged 9.99 for each person - 19.98 for the both of us.

Correct. I never mentioned price when I asked about what packages I had. I was told I had the all inclusive with the premium wifi upgrade.

I called the Captain's Club on a completely different issue, then I asked to check my 3 upcoming bookings. She confirmed that I have the Premium Wifi Upgrade on all my sailings (for $9.99pp).

The problem with that, you miss 4 days of cruising and 3 ports if you count Barcelona. I just might consider flying to Valencia on the 7th, spending the night, and boarding the morning of the 8th, if those details can be worked out with Celebrity.
