  1. Do you recall if they had "free" transportation from the port to the Ravenna Train Station? I read somewhere on this forum that they provided "free" bus transport from the Ravenna Train Station to the port. We're taking Royal from Ravenna in October and trying to figure out how to get to the port from our B&B other than taking a 20 euro taxi.
  2. We changed staterooms several times, and it took anywhere from 2-7 days for eDocs to update. Have your TA call and light a fire under someone's you know what. Then you can print them out with correct stateroom number. Order luggage tag holders from Amazon. They hold up well, and you can insert your luggage tags in them on this and future cruises. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=royal+caribbean+luggage+tag+holders&crid=41KMB8Z6PQEO&sprefix=royal+caribbean+%2Caps%2C130&ref=nb_sb_ss_mission-aware-v1_2_16
  3. We bring on board 2 bottled each -- we go thru separate security points. I think the website says they charge corkage if you bring it to the MDR, but I always ask ahead of time if they charge corkage. The answer seems to be no. We always tip accordingly.
  4. Find a place close to where you are staying, make an appt, then Uber there and back.
  5. Just got off Summit. Most people have the beverage package. With being able to get a drink in any bar from 5-7pm, no more Sky Lounge HH. They Sky Lounge is now open to everyone during those hours. On a 7-night sailing, they did have two Captain's club events, mostly during the middle of the day, where they closed the Sky Lounge and passed out apps.
  6. We got the rapid NAAT test for free at Walgreens last month. You just need to answer the right questions. Don't ask me what questions/what answers -- just read them and you should be able to figure it out.
  7. I normally print them out and put them in one of these luggage tag holders. They are very reasonable on Amazon, and they hold up well. Been using them for years. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=royal+caribbean+luggage+tag+holders&crid=41KMB8Z6PQEO&sprefix=royal+caribbean+%2Caps%2C130&ref=nb_sb_ss_mission-aware-v1_2_16
  8. The staterooms are built in a module of two with a little alcove. As you enter the alcove, the stateroom on the right has bed by the bath, and the stateroom on the left has bed by the balcony. If you look at the deck plans, on the port side 1621/1623 make up one module with 1621 having bed by the bath, and on the starboard side, 1624/1626 make up one module with 1624 having bed by the balcony. From there, all you need to do is start counting, with every other stateroom having bed by bath/balcony/bath, etc. Sometimes you check the sticky out, and there are occasional errors. You need to confirm but verify. You could also start with the concierge staterooms back aft of the AQ's. The ones with the little square have bed by the bath. You can also start counting from there. Another way to check, the below deck is a mirror image of the one above. Find a corresponding stateroom from the deck below. Of course, it gets a little tricky when you have a block of assessable staterooms that are a little larger. Hope this helps.
  9. I would bring your own. My wife brings her own Diet Cranberry on all our cruises. She gives one of the small ones to one of the bartenders at the martini bar to make her cosmos. They don't carry it on board or in just about any bar/restaurant. You can't believe the amount of sugar in the regular cranberry.
  10. You paid 20% to the cost to upgrade to the Premium package when you called to upgrade. No other gratuity is required except if you order a drink above the cost of the package, you pay the difference and 20% of the difference. If your package allow all drinks up to $15, and you order a drink that costs $18, you pay $3 + 20% of the $3 = $3.60.
  11. The currency on board the ship is U.S. Dollars. No matter what port or country, I would use the U.S. Dollar for tips/gratuity.
  12. We were in Blu, and a couple of nights found nothing on the menu for Main Course that suited our fancy. After the appetizer and salad, we ordered the 4 oz filet on the kids menu. The filet was really, really good, and it was enough for us as we headed to al Bacio for dessert and Irish Coffee. The filet was not on the menu, but in the app.
  13. Do a google search for a pharmacia in the area of your hotel and contact them to make an appointment. We did the same for our embark in Ravenna. Or, check with your hotel for recommendations.
  14. You login to the ship's wifi and it will prompt you to use your free D+ day of internet. The Diamond concierge or the ship's internet guru will help you if need be.
  15. I'm thinking only for those who have the beverage package. All others will pay.
  16. I just read the article. It appears that you can get your Starbucks coffee at Cafe Promenade free only if you have the Beverage Package.
  17. The Brilliance 2023 Panama Canal sailing is up. Lots of 4B aft staterooms available. They will go fast.
  18. We normally bring 100 dollar bills. If we need more based on the length of the cruise, we go to the casino or guest services to get more.
  19. I was skeptical about the vouchers in the beginning, but after three Royal sailings, it kinda/sorta works out for us. You can always supplement with rumrunners. 😉
  20. All your best cruise deals/prices will depend upon supply and demand. Econ 101 😉
  21. I usually tip $1 per drink. I think the bartender who rings up the drink charged to your card will get some sort of compensation from Royal. That's why they make sure they charge you a voucher for a bottle of water at the end of the day when you want to use up all your remaining vouchers. That's just my best guestimate.
