  1. Well, you better be careful how you answer -- you could find yourself down in Medical once you board.
  2. If it's anything like Civitavecchia, you should be off the ship, if you like, by 7am. The train station is a short taxi ride from the port. Even if you have to travel to Bologna to catch the train, you should be OK.
  3. Don't tell them it's for travel only. Don't even mention travel. Of course they are going to charge you. Most of us check the box that you have been around folks in high transmission area, and you have a symptom such as cough and maybe a little diarrhea. That will get you a free test.
  4. My guess is they are using that area for quarantine. We were on Constellation in an OV on Deck 3 and they moved us to a Concierge stateroom on Deck 8. They wanted to keep that entire area where we were for new crew quarantine.
  5. Stateroom 6151 has both a sofa bed and upper berth. Both of those are by the balcony, so the bed is by the bath/door.
  6. I only bid on AQ and FV. That's why I was surprised to see the 2B stateroom show up in both the app and the cruise planner. The AQ price was the one they selected and charged me. I bid a little extra for the FV. My TA worked it out for me. She said she was on hold for over 2 hours yesterday, then got cut off, and tried again this morning.
  7. I started with NORD, but I can't remember what, but it wouldn't let me do some "things" -- can't recall what as it was a few years back. I've been with ExpressVPN and very happy with it. Norton anti-virus offers free VPN with its service, but I still use Express. Thanks everyone for your responses. I'll have to remember my settings on my next cruise.
  8. I put in a MoveUp offer to go from an OV to AQ. I got a ping on my phone that Celebrity charged me. I went in to look at my MoveUp's and saw they moved me from OV to a 2B. My TA called them and they told her there were no more AQ staterooms left, so I said to move me back to my OV. This morning, Celebrity found me an AQ stateroom. It ended well.
  9. Maybe that will work for the Bermuda cruise next month, but I’m more concerned about Europe and the transatlantic we have coming this fall. I want to be able to access some programs we have recorded.
  10. We got off at 7am to get our luggage without walking off with luggage. Just make sure you get the earliest numbered tag if you have to meet transport early.
  11. We ditched our cable company and just use wifi for our TV programming (fubo and/or youtube tv), but you can't access it when traveling out of the U.S./Canada. I did an internet search and understand you can use a VPN connected to one of the servers in the U.S. to connect to our favorite streaming service if you are overseas. I seem to recall you had to turn off your VPN in order to connect to the ship's wifi. Can you connect then turn your VPN back on, or will your streaming service recognize the ship's server.
  12. I would go ahead and book the 11:40. You can get off the ship in Civitavecchia (carry off) at 7am, so I don't know why it would be an issue in Ravenna as long as the ship gets into port on time. It's about an hour to Bologna, so you should have plenty of time. Have the transfer waiting for you at 7am.
  13. Don't forget getting from your cabin back to the pier. The ones the cruise ship uses sometimes come off. I've had the Amazon ones for several years, and for $7+, they work for us.
  14. We're on the 10 July sailing, and first boarding time was 11:00am.
  15. The way I read it, no longer required a test prior to flying into NZ. It was similar to the USA requiring covid test one day prior to flying into the U.S. That requirement has since been lifted. It would be very difficult for a cruise ship to test everyone the day before a port visit.
  16. If you are sitting in the couch, you will be facing/looking forward, the direction the ship is sailing.
  17. Both Summit and Millennium have had their revolutionizations, or whatever they called it. 😃
  18. We were on Serenade 15 May sailing and told there were too many D+ to open it up to D+, but we never saw more than a handful of people in there at any time we were up in the area. What a waste.
  19. I believe you need to create a NAVICA account for everyone then go into emed and use those credentials to log in. I used separate emails for me and my wife.
  20. I've seen some of their handwriting on the luggage tags filled out by the porters. I find it easy to print and stuff in luggage tag holder.
  21. I've been using that software for the past 6 years when it was introduced to me. Prints out 4 tags per sheet, then I put them into those Amazon luggage tag holders. Works like a charm.
  22. You have to keep checking prices as the VOOM prices for 1,2,3,4 devices fluctuate. If you have a party of 4 who want to be on line at the same time, the 4-device is the most economical.
  23. If non-Elite, you don't get Elite benefits if you are sailing with an Elite member. You only get complimentary entrance to Elite Events such as Captain Club events/Elite breakfast. You get none of the laundry or other Elite benefits.
  24. If you win a Move Up to AQ, you get all the AQ perks, including Blu and the AQ Spa, etc.
