  1. Thank you - I'm ready for next month!
  2. Can you order the chateaubriand and 1 Murano lobster entree for 2? Also, I don't see any potatoes as a side on any of the entrees and we enjoy a "steak and potato" dinner. Can I order a baked potato or mashed potato instead of the baby vegetables? It's been a while since we've eaten in Murano.
  3. True - DH pops it fresh with a whirley popper and buys specialty popcorn. He'll try any popcorn once!
  4. Never thought of asking our butler for potato chips when we watch a movie...we usually try to fill a plate at the buffet and cover it with a napkin so they don't fall. DH is a popcorn fanatic and always misses his popcorn on a trip and when we watch a movie...I hope on our trip next month that he can get some delivered so he won't go through withdrawals...it's not a pretty sight. Thanks for the hints!
  5. Have you tried touching up your roots yourself...so easy and I take my own Loreal on longer B2B cruises. You could try at home months before sailing to get comfortable doing it and ask your hair dresser for a drug store brand and color that is similar to the formula they use on you. I touch up the roots with a 1/2" wide art paint brush and leave it on for 30 minutes...I have stubborn gray framing my face. I plan to do it on a sea day and never had a problem. Also, I love the "Greyfree Root Touch-Up Hair Mascara Temporary Gray Roots Concealer" that I buy from Amazon for $10 to use as my front roots start to grow out, but I'm not ready to color them.
  6. Thanks for responding ....I finally figured out how to find my other sailings!
  7. I have B2B sailings in Sept and can see my app for the 1st sailing which shows Luminae offering lunch on 2 of my port days which obviously is wrong - not concerned. Can anyone tell me if you can view the 2nd sailing now or does it only show 1 sailing at a time?
  8. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to take the photos! Murano it is! And I have to try a burger since you recommended it...I love burgers!. Hope you're pants are a little looser and enjoy your cruise!
  9. Unrelated, but would you be able to post the current Reflection menus for Murano, Tuscan Grill and Lawn Club Grill? If you're too busy, I understand...we're sailing B2B next month and I want to surprise DH with an anniversary dinner. Thank you and have a great cruise....I'll report back after our cruise regarding our butler experience.
  10. Another difference when you book a Celebrity suite you get wi-fi, tips, OBC and premium beverage package. You get nothing with Princess unless you purchase the Plus or Premium package on top of the cruise price.
  11. I think the suite experience on both lines as well as RCCL are good and each has different positive points. It's really what you're looking for. There are multiple threads complaining about Celebrity's price increase and the Sky Suite no longer has a dedicated Butler, but a "Retreat Butler Team".
  12. You're welcome. I forgot to mention a few other things: free specialty dinner on embarkation night only (reservations can't be made until on board), there is breakfast dining for full suites only in Sabatini's restaurant every morning with complimentary mimosas, a complimentary mini-bar set up (sodas, water, beer, mini liquour bottles) which can be exchanged for 1 bottle of wine or all water/sodas - beer/liquour can be exchanged for other alcohol, but waters/sodas can't be changed for alcohol. What is a SV?
  13. We sail both lines - on Princess in Penthouse and Owners Suites. On Celebrity - only a Sky Suite because we personally don't care for the layout of a Celebrity Suite since you can't see the ocean from the bedroom and we like to relax and watch tv on the bed. We booked a CS the first time on X and when DH and I looked at a video of the cabin, he immediately said change that room as it feels smaller than an interior since the bedroom is enclosed. We prefer a more open floor plan so the Princess PH meets our needs more and we like the bathroom too since it has 2 sinks and a walk-in shower. You will be giving up Luminae; however, we did have excellent service in Club Class dining or I believe they call it the Reserve now. You won't have a butler, but the Concierge Lounge is nice and close to grab coffee, sodas, water, snacks and a happy hour whereas the Retreat is always on another floor and further away. You also get unlimited laundry that is picked up daily (don't send delicates as it can be harsh on them) and there is a laundry room several doors down if you like to manage your own washing. We sailed the Sky in May; however, we're on the X Reflection next month on B2B Mediterranean sailings. Yet, we're back to Princess in Jan in a PH on the Enchanted then over to RCCL (owners suite - great open plan). We flip flop around.
  14. I found a photo of one of the Concierge events.
  15. We sailed a RCCL med cruise Oct 20th out of Rome with Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Kusadasi and Olympia...looking back at photos I wore shorts and a short sleeve polo in Athens, but jeans and a light weight zip sweatshirt in Santorini.
  16. Have you seen the new Prix Fixe Menus at O'Malleys and Gigi's? Would you be kind enough to post photos of the menus? Thank you and have a great cruise.
  17. I made numerous calls to the incompetent outsourced phone center and my TA eventually made 2 - 2 hour phone calls to get my $2,000 refund processed on my credit card after a month. I was advised by the Suite Concerige Host that it would take 3-5 days to process the refund on my credit card; however, after speaking to Princess and reading on CC...that's not the case. Next time I have a credit balance on my ship account...even if it's $2,000....I'm getting cash to avoid the hassle.
  18. Thank you posting the letter and enjoy your cruise...we're sailing on Enchanted in Jan. If you have the time and it would not be too much of an inconvenience, would you kindly post photos of the new Prix Fixe Menus at the Pizzeria, Pub and Terrace for all to see? Thanks!
  19. You'll have a little walk...we were 3 doors down and had to pass it each time we left the cabin. Hope hou have a good time!
  20. I don't remember what time they started...I think around 5:30. We had a drink package so we didn't stop in the evening too often since it can get crowded. What cabin are you in? We'll be on the Enchanted in Jan. Did you make it to the 360 Experience?
  21. We were on the Sky in May and the Concierge Host was Vanessa and the Manager was Josue. They were great and they hosted a "Martini" happy hour one night and an upscale "Wine and Cheese pairing" party another night. The lounge is stocked with sodas, water and snacks all day.
  22. I followed your sailing, but I don't recall if you mentioned whether you received 3 mini bar setups during your cruise.
  23. There seems to be come inconsistency in that I've read that I'll receive 6 mini bars (we're Elite), 3 specialty dinners; however, but you say only 2 Casual Dining Meals....Princess should clarify these perks since my account reflects 6 credits as if I booked 3- 7 day sailings. Hopefully, some other passengers with longer sailings that consist of multi-cruises will report on their experience. I won't die one way or the other...as I might have limited opportunities to casual dining with a port intensive sailing, but it would be nice to have the option. Thanks for responding.
