  1. On my last cruise in May, every time I changed my EZ-Air when I had a price reduction, the pre cruise transfers would change from Victoria Station (London)/ship to airport/ship. I would call my TA and they would call Princess each time to correct it. They advised that it happens with changes to EZ-Air...go figure.
  2. With the change to the Plus Package that now includes NEW 2 casual dining meals....would I receive 2 per leg if I booked a 21 day suite cruise (that can be sold as 3 - 7 day sailings) since I'm receiving 6 credits or would I just receive the 2 casual dining meals for the entire sailing?
  3. That's good to know - Thanks! The last time I had a B2B in Europe was some time ago on RCCL and we had to do it every time. However, the tours on the turn around days indicate "This tour is not available to passengers beginning or ending their voyage in Piraeus (Athens)/(Rome)". So, I'm assuming that if you book 7 day legs, Princess would not allow you to book a ship tour on turn around days because technically your sailing has ended or do they allow you to book tours and still treat your 3 legs as 21 days?
  4. We have an Owners Suite on the new Sun Princess for 21 days and saved $2,300 booking the 21 days instead of 3 - 7 day cruises. Also, we are able to book ship tours (Rome, Athens) on the turn abround days instead of tying ourselves up having to go through the process of scanning out/rescanning the new medallion process.
  5. Yes, of course. I'm just saying for example...like all of the cutbacks Terrydtx voiced his dissatisfaction about, I agreed with his opinion; however, I never posted on them even though I had an opinion...not a positive one!
  6. You say that there are about 20 dissatisfied posters (not 200); however, there are plenty of CC members who don't post even though they have an opinion. Also, there are a lot of cruisers who don't know about CC as I've experienced when I'm talking to a fellow cruiser and mention something about CC. They've never heard about this site....my DH has never been on CC. There are going to be a lot of surprised SS passengers when they embark on their sailing to learn there has been a change regarding dedicated butlers since Celebrity was not up front about reporting the change.
  7. How many dedicated butlers do you think there previously was on a S class ship that has 34 SS's? One time in an aft SS1, I thought our butler told us he serviced all of the aft SS cabins...which there are 20 and seems like a lot of rooms. When this butler hadn't seen us in days, he came to our cabin because he was concerned that something was wrong. We explained that we just hadn't needed anything. I was wondering if some butlers were busier with their assigned cabins who requested more while other butlers had less active cabins so they are trying to balance the workload without specifically saying this?
  8. I just received a call from a Celebrity Executive Representative in response to my email regarding this topic and my B2B Sept/Oct sailings. She advised that "there has always been a butler team in the background" and that they are bringing the team forward mid-Aug with SS's sailings at full capacity. Also, that they "supposedly" have received positive feedback with the upcoming change 😂. We'll see and hoping for the best!
  9. When I've cancelled EZAir and a cruise before final payment, I continue to get text alerts about my "upcoming" flight, gate, etc. that I never paid for. I just ignore them even though it's annoying. This has happened several times.
  10. Every butler we've had has offered to stock our mini-fridge with soda and beer, lots of bottled water and some even offered to make sure there were always 2 bottles of wine so we could have a glass while in the cabin since we had the beverage package.
  11. After telling DH the prices of our upcoming cruises and X cutbacks, he said maybe we should go back to land vacations. With almost 50 cruises, I'm not ready to go back to packing/unpacking/airports while visiting several countries....unpacking once is one of the luxuries of sailing. When talking to DH about our B2B European sailings on the Apex next fall in only an Aqua SS, 1 of which is a 13 day itinerary costs....drum roll ... $19K. DH said let's go the Galapagos instead if we're spending that much so I booked a 16 day Flora sailing. We're on B2B sailings on the Reflection this Sept/Oct so I'll report back how the "butler team" works out.
  12. Do a mock booking of your exact cruise and click on CRUISE DETAILS, then FLIGHT QUOTES and then your flight dates and airports to see the available EZ AIR options.
  13. We are in the same boat, but would like a larger bathroom...we booked a CS on our first X cruise and when we saw a video of the cabin, DH told me to change the cabin because the bedroom didn't allow you to view the ocean since we like to watch tv on the bed and the actual bedroom felt like an interior cabin. We like the open floor plan the SS offers. I wish X would design some larger open floor plan suites like our favorite ones on RCCL (Owners & Grand) and Princess (Penthouse). Until then, we book a SS and will have to live with the changes. We don't use our butler that much...but it's nice when we do.
  14. Thank you for responding! 6 minibars and 3 specialty dinners! I'll trade the minibars for wine...but how much wine do we need with the plus package and the reserve lounge? I do look forward to the 3 dinners though.
  15. I know this question is off topic, but hopefully some of you other experienced suite guests reading along could answer my question... We've sailed on many B2B saililngs, but recently made a single booking for a suite on a 21 day Europe Sun Princess sailing that is also sold in 3 separate 7 day segments. I assumed I would receive 2 minibar setups (we're Elite) and 1 speciality dining; however, my CC account reflects 6 credits. I've read others say under these circumstances they received multiple minibar setups as if they booked separate segments, but only 1 dinner....inconsistent! Have any of you experienced this type of suite booking? Thanks for any info.
  16. Well, that’s disappointing for suites…fortunately we always get the plus package. Could you kindly tell me what the webinar is?
  17. I tracked these cabins because I wanted the pole on the right side of the bed since DH sleeps on the left side and is taller than me. If it makes a difference to you, sometimes, the port side cabin pole location is opposite from the starboard side and then they alernate odd and even decks. i.e. 9299 (port side) pole is on the right side of bed and 8336 (starboard side) pole is also on the right side, 8345 it's on the left side; however, the pole in 9374 is near the sofa. Cruisedeckplans dot com has photos of some of the Equinox sunset sky suites.
  18. I doubt suites will be charged. Suite amenities are listed under their perks and not under the plus/premium packages
  19. We sailed in a Penthouse on Sky in May and received a full bottle of sparkling wine and a large floral arrangement on embarkation day. I was surprised since we usually receive 2 demi bottles. I suspected we received these items since we weren't notified in advance that our suite was modified during the May drydock to a semi-handicap cabin with a bolted down foldable seat/bench and heavy metal grab rails in the standup shower.
  20. You do receive an email inquiring whether you would like white, red or sparkling wine, extra hangers, type of pillows, extra blankets and whether you're celebrating a special occasion.
  21. After my TA called the Galapagos Desk, Celebrity advised that if I take $800 promotional discount, then I lose my $750 per person R/T air credit. I want the larger air credit....😟
