So did the Veranda cabin ultimately receive the Retreat access you thought you were upgrading to (Luminae, lounge, etc)?

We've been to the Acropolis several times with one time being 95 degrees and it was dreadful. A little shopping and a nice Greek lunch with wine at the Plaka sounds more appealing! Any explanation from the captain on the vibration?

Did Luminae have the macaron cookie and chocolate cart that they always had on Chic night pre-covid?

Are you currently on the ship and you were assigned that time (which is only assigned the day before disembarkation)? We've taken ship transfers on almost 50 cruises and never been assigned an 11:30 time even for a 5:00pm flight. You can go to Guest Relations and request an earlier departure time based on your airlines.

We're in a suite for the 9-30 & 10-09 sailings. Would you be kind enough to advise of the toiletries in the bathroom so I can decide what to bring from home since this will be our first Celebrity post-covid sailing? Are there bars of soap or pump soap at the sink, etc? Thank you and enjoy your sailing!

We were on an Iceland cruise in May 2023 and I discovered some of our tours were either cancelled or moved to another time after members of our roll call posted that they had credits on their credit card. When I booked the excursions there were additional spaces available so overbooking wasn't the problem. Princess has poor customer relations as they never contacted me regarding all of the changes and I had to review my excursions daily for changes. I don't believe CC status had any bearing as we turned Elite on this sailing and were in a Penthouse suite. Just plain bad service and lack of concern for passengers on a once in a lifetime cruise. Celebrity always advises me when there are changes on our tours!

Thank you for taking the time to post the videos...I had viewed the 1st video, but got confused when the X website showed both shower photos. The 2nd video showed the Royal Suite had the shower I don't want. Celebrity should update their PSIV photos! Again, thank you for your help and I just booked the cruise!

We're looking at the Premium Suite with Infinite Veranda (PSIV); however, there are 2 photos for the location of the shower/bathtub. One photo shows a corner shower while the other shows a rectangle flat against the wall shower. We want the corner shower. Can anyone advise if they stayed in a PSIV and if they had a corner shower. Thanks for any info.

My cruise begins in AMS, but I want to fly to Vienna, Austria first. On RCCL A2S, I can change the departure date, but it won't let me change the arrival city as it defaults to AMS. Any suggestions? I have called A2S and they advised that it couldn't be done online. I like to monitor my flights for price reductions. It's strange that Celebrity which is owned by RCCL has a much more flexible airline booking site. Thanks for any info!

Sorry for asking...I just realized that megr1125 had indicated they could could change the arrival airport.

I did, but I like to see all of the times...options...prices. Do you have a link that you use for RCCL? Flights by Celebrity lets you change airports, dates, etc. and both cruiselines are owned by RCCL. Even Princess lets you modify flights online when the price goes down. I like watch my flights for price reductions which you can't do with RCCL, but you can with Celebrity.

We have sailed on almost 50 cruises and always use Celebrity, Princess and RCCL cruiseline bus to airport transfers. I have never experienced them doing what you were "promised". We've always claimed our luggage at the port and then were directed to take our luggage to the nearest bus going to our airlines.

Thank you for responding. Retreat Shoreside doesn't reach out to SS cabins prior to sailing and I'm unaware of how to contact them. I'll just order an arrangement upon embarkation.

You are apparently in a higher suite to pre-order flowers??? We're in a SS on our upcoming cruise, so I can only order flowers onboard?

Unfortunately, dining hasn't opened up yet for our May sailing. Hoping there will be some good Black Friday sales. One time we were on the Allure in the Izumi Hibachi restaurant and another couple mentioned they had purchased the UDP for our sailing during the Black Friday for less than 1/2 price. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info! I can't convince DH to dine in the cabin for dinner..he prefers to get out. We do enjoy the specialty restaurants so either we'll dine half the nights there or the Unlimited Dining Package. Since we're D+ we get the BOGO discount and we really enjoy Chops and Giovanni's. I've also checked the Izumi menu which looks good.

Well...that's sounds quite yummy and something to look forward to! I wish MTD was like the Club Class on Princess where you are escorted in immediately to a table in a reserved section. It's a shame that RCCL has not carved out a portion of the MDR for suite guests on ships that don't have Coastal Kitchen. Celebrity did that on all of their ships...even the smaller M class. We use to look foward to sailing on the larger ships with Coastal Kitchen, but now look forward to the smaller ones. We are enjoying Celebrity a bit more than RCCL, but I like the suites better on RCCL and Princess.

I'm looking forward to having an actual table for breakfast. This is our first OS as we always book a GS. Thank you!

Does the Veranda cabin have access to Luminae and the Retreat Lounge?

We always book a suite and was interested in the same scnerio for our son/DIL. I did several mock bookings on Edge with a Magic Carpet SS/adjoining Veranda, but the Retreat upgrade option was never offered...????

I don't think you can book the same excursion without cancelling the first one as it will show a time conflict and not allow you to complete the booking.

Did the Suite Host schedule any tours or plan any special evening events? Last time we were on the Serenade, the Host had several events just for the suite guests (when P & D+ were allowed) to include a chocolate evening. Thanks!
