I purchased a Smartscoot 3 years ago and have traveled and cruised with it many times. It weighs 39 pounds. If you remove the seat you have 2 pieces of about 27 and 12 pounds. It folds. It comes with a rack that attaches to the front that can hold a carryon suitcase. I drive it right up to the door of the plane and the ground crew stows it with the strollers and brings it to the plane door on arrival. I have no issues using it to check in for my cruise. As with airports I don’t have to wait/rely on someone to bring a wheelchair. In a regular celebrity cabin it is small enough to fold and keep under the desk. Or you can leave it in a more open space nearby the cabin and just bring the 4 pound battery into your cabin to charge it. It helps that it looks ‘cool’ for a scooter. 😊. I would say the only issue I have had with it is how many people stop me to ask about it! You can get more info at Smartscoot.com. If you give them code 6857 you will get a $100 discount. I hope your wife will not hesitate to get some type of scooter. There is no reason at all that she should miss out on cruising.

Thanks very much! I have been to the Concierge lunch several times, but wasn't looking for vegetarian options and couldn't remember. This time our little group includes a vegetarian. Everyone's replies, and especially the copy of the menu have been very helpful.

Trying again for a reply.

Instead of the door hanger, call in your order about a half hour before you want it served and ask that the food be sent at the same time (should be a given, don't know why that happened to you) and that the omelettes be fresh and hot. Hopefully that will work.

Don't forget to tip the staff at Al Bacio when you get a complimentary tea or coffee. $1 per drink is my usual.

Suggestions: Over-the-door shoe pockets for everyone's stuff. Hanging net shower caddy for everyone's shower toiletries. Lots of strong magnetic hooks - all the walls and doors are metal. Dirty laundry goes in the under-bed empty suitcases until sent to laundry. Suitcases under bed can also hold extra clothing/stuff.

Strange...we got off reflection last month and had regular or egg white omelettes from room service almost every day and they were lovely. Big and fluffy and not overcooked.

I know there is a vegetarian menu available for dinner in the MDR. Is there a vegetarian option at the Concierge lunch on embarkation day?

Can anyone confirm if there are currently spin bikes on Silhouette and if so what brand? ie Peloton?

And she is married to Reflection Hotel Director Christofe.

A lightweight combination cable lock to wrap around the handles of a closed walker or wheelchair could work. Or to attach those or a scooter to a post, etc. This isn't for heavy duty theft prevention, but would make it difficult for someone who is mistakenly (or not), taking your mobility device. I sometime use it on my folding lightweight scooter. I just keep it attached to my scooter so it's always there when I need it. Something like this one:

For those with reliable knowledge on the subject, a question:
Is a dog considered a Service Animal if it is used to provide emotional support to individuals suffering from PTSD or who are on the autism spectrum?

Just got off Reflection with Surf package. Could not send or download photos on What’s app. So did those by email. Otherwise worked well for our purposes of surfing web, email and what’s app messages.

Is that the high speed WiFi or the new surf WiFi? Doesn’t say. Could likely be the latter.

Using it right now on Reflection between Ibiza and Cartagena. It’s somewhat slower but fine for surfing the net, downloading apps and what’s app. Not good so far for Instagram or what’s app pics but can send pics by email. Working fine for our purposes so far. Will see what happens as we cross the Atlantic. Our adult kids would need the high speed. Surf is 1.5 Mbps up and down.

Our December Silhouette sailing is not yet able to have check-in using the Celebrity app. So I've done the check in online. Our family of 5 in 2 staterooms, with the reservations linked. The system allows me to complete the check-in for all 5. However, when I allowed all 5 to charge to my credit card, and I tried to click 'continue', I repeatedly got a message with a red exclamation mark, and a message saying I had to complete guest information. I triple checked, and everything was correct and completed. I called Captain's Club and the rep could not figure out what the problem was and apparently there can only reach IT via email. The CC rep suggested I try choosing 'cash account' for everyone else except me. That actually worked. The express passes for everyone came up on the next screen. The rep said to go to guest services once on board and have them apply my credit card to everyone.
Has anyone else had this issue?

We found that the app was only looking to scan the code number and bar code at the bottom of our Canadian passports. It didn't want a scan the full page. We completed the check in successfully.

It helps you make sure you have everything you need and your passport is not expired.
Agree with this wholeheartedly!!

I did speak to 2 different captains club reps and both said dining packages show sold out or not available. So from your responses I expect that’s the case.

This is what I do with the roll-in shower. I ask our room steward to provide 2 beach towels daily. You or your room steward, if you ask him/her, rolls up the 2 towels - they look like pool noodles - and place them on the floor in a semi-circle around the outside of the shower from wall to wall. This serves as a water dam. The towels will get wet, but the rest of the bathroom floor will be dry. Your room steward will remove and replace the wet towels. On the S class ships, the bathroom fixtures are very similar to a non-HC cabin, except for no cabinet under the sink and grab bars in the shower and on the wall next to the toilet. The closets have tall hanging, and a bar that comes down for low hanging, but we never use the lower bar. I have not sailed on the Millennium in many years, and back then did not need an HC room. But you might search on YouTube for a Millennium accessible cabin video. Just make sure it's fairly current.

We have recently booked a holiday cruise for this December 2019. I wanted to purchase a 3 night specialty dining package for the 5 of us, but the 3 and 4 night packages are sold out. Are they really sold out, or are they not available at all on a holiday sailing? The individual specialty restaurant prices are higher than usual (even when it's not Christmas or New Year's Eve), but the package prices are not. That's why I'm thinking they are not available. The packages give you the option of adding them to your cart, but when it's time to check out, they are not available. Is this the norm for holiday cruises?

It’s currently available on Reflection which is the last to be refurbished.

Is the guest chat feature on the Celebrity app available on Silhouette? -
One of our party is a vegetarian - no meat/fish/seafood. Will eat eggs and cheese. Other than the salad bar, flat bread and veggie kebab, are there any other options for her?

I bring, in duplicate, all the medication I need for the duration of my cruise plus another week or two. I pack one set in my checked bag and one in my carryon bag it tote. Just in case one or the other is lost or delayed.
