Eclispe in May and Summit in Sept.

Hi. I just looked on my cruise planner on the app for cruises in May and October. Both had the speciality dining venues at $70, which is insane. I wonder if Celebrity is planning another increase? Can anyone currently on a cruise confirm this? Thanks. May book the three deal package as still reasonable.

Do they still charge the difference if you only have the classic package for the martinis in the smaller sized glasses?

We were on the Apex last Feb. Try the Halibut in the Normandie. Delicious! We we’re sorry that we did t not try the Eden restaurant. We didn’t know much about it before we sailed but now have read so many amazing comments to about it. Enjoy your cruise!

Hi Jim, Thanks for getting back to regarding the excursion in Canada. Small world. We live in Niskayuna so very close to Ballston Lake. Fortunately we get much less snow these days but still the cold. So looking forward to following along with you on this cruise. Vicky

Jim, Looking forward to another wonderful review. Will get me thru the cold December weather in upstate NY until we go back to FL after Christmas. So glad to hear your eye surgery went well. An unrelated question. We are doing the Canada/New England cruise next Sept. I recall you went on the excursion that included a visit to the Anne of Green Gables house and a lobster lunch. We’ve been looking at that one as well. It’s somewhat pricy and wondering if you felt it was worth the cost. Thanks and .have a great cruise. Vicky

I had the same experience at the martini bar on the Apex. Very red ( and too sweet) cosmos. Not the typical pale pink. Since I make these at home, I just had my other favorites ( sunset martini and the b,ie martini) and they were fine.

We had the same thoughts and experience when we sailed in an IV this past Feb. We did think they would be great for cool weather cruises when the balcony is not used that much and it does make the room seem bigger.

Our Japan cruise for April 2023 was cancelled several months ago. The 2022 one was also cancelled so we have given up on Japan for awhile.

What kind of dog is Daisy? She looks somewhat like our Cavachon.

Hi David, Terry is doing well. Improving slowly but gaining strength in his legs. One benefit, I lost five pounds with all the puppy walking ( world have gained at least five if had gone on the cruise!). Thanks for asking and enjoy the rest of your cruise.
