  1. I do not see any problem with that and would probably do the same. I have learned that in addition to the two words key to a successful and happy marriage, "Yes Dear", that there is a right way, and wrong way, and my wife's way. Of the three only the latter is correct. So, I stay out of her way as best I can. That seems to work best for me. (we celebrated our 50th anniversary last month)
  2. You could not pay my DW to have her fresh vegetables and fruit delivered. Even during the height of COVID she would put on her latex gloves, N95 mask and have me drive her to the grocery store. Her family's business was fresh produce and fruit and she has to pick her own, and I have seen her take minutes to select individual items. But hey, she takes damn good care of me and I love her for it.

  4. We are looking forward to enjoying some quality time in the Rendezvous lounge. One of our favorite hangouts on the S-Class is the Ensemble Lounge. I was looking at the deck plans for the Rendezvous layout and it looks interesting. Was not sure if the bar was in the middle or in the back so glad you cleared that up for us.
  5. In typical fashion for Celebrity's IT, I just checked Room Service for our Sky Suite on Millie this coming April. It shows room service hours as "all Day 6:00 AM -9:30 AM" for Breakfast, 11:00 1m - 5:00 AM All Day". In the text under description it says "Celebrity offers 24-hour in-stateroom dining. " No idea which is correct but we seldom eat anything other than lunch during port days in our stateroom.
  6. I. have had that happen as well when using the Military Discount. I always make sure that when I book The Retreat that all the perks are included.

  8. You and I must have completely different taste buds. We did a B2B on Quantum in Aug/Sep of 2022 and loved the food and service in CK. I am not sure what you were ordering or what your expectations were but we had very few complaints, outside storage in the stateroom.

  10. I love breakfast but I am usually one and done when it comes to any specific meal but I could see my self having an early and late breakfast sandwich.
  11. Reading with interest. We have 8 past cruises but have never been on a Millennium class ship but will be on Millie in April.
  12. I did a mixology class on Silhouette. It was held at the World Class Bar and consisted of making four drinks using different techniques, shaken, muddled, stirred, and mixed. No mx with music or anything -- just 8-10 of us sitting at the bar having the mixologist explain the drink we would be making, him making it and then us making our own under their supervision, and then we consumed the drink before going on to the. next one -- rinse and repeat.
  13. That's interesting. I would. call Celebrity and ask them as normally Retreat cannot be booked without the Drinks, WiFi, and Gratuities included. I have always received those when booking the Retreat except one time when the booking was within the 90 days of sailing.

  17. Do we think… NO. We’ve had nothing but excellent food and service since the restart. My only disappointment continues to be with the grits. Have yet to find good grits on a cruise ship.
  18. We have done five cruises since restart. Three on Celebrity and two on Royal. For 2023 we have three cruises booked - two Celebrity (15 day and 12 day) and one on Royal (8 day).
  19. Yes, Royal Caribbean Diamond Crown and Anchor members receive vouchers on their set sail pass cards for four drinks per day. These vouchers cover most beverages. If you have linked your Royal Caribbean and Celebrity accounts then your status as Elite on Celebrity should carry over to Diamond on Royal Caribbean. You can see your status by logging into your account on the Royal Caribbean web site or on the Royal Caribbean app.
  20. I did -- and as I said -- Wonder's it's both feet and meters.
  21. I will wear my usual -- dress shirt and maybe a sports coat. Depends on the temperature in the restaurant. Never owned a tux and am not going to buy one now. Wife does not own and dinner gown and she has no interest in getting one now.
