  1. I appreciate your post, since it has inspired me to NOT overpack (as I usually do)!
  2. If you are looking for a more "All Inclusive" package, NCL added "Free at Sea Plus" in July. * Attached is the break-down chart of inclusions. For a 14 day cruise, it would add additional $1372.00 for both of you. However, for some people the convenience of the added items for a couple make this package a valuable addition. *** Be sure to note: If you do NOT use NCL excursions, or do not want upgraded alcohol (and included Starbucks and bottled waters), added Specialty Dining, or unlimited WiFi, then the package is not valuable!
  3. The "catch" is not exactly the paper certificate itself. If you try to use more certificates/vouchers than your account shows, you would be billed for the meal, because your account shows your availability/usage. That is why each individual's card is scanned before, and after, dining!
  4. I completely agree. Currently, "The Drink of the Day" special price is $9.00 (based on some posted on Freestyle Daily). Those same drinks, any other day, are closer to $15 (possibly more)!
  5. Drinks look great. Good luck with your test. I hope you feel MUCH better soon!
  6. Y'all are hysterical! (FYI, I very rarely, actually, say "y'all!)
  7. I was thrown-off by our on-line information, also. But, it all seems to show correctly on our invoice. Luckily we have time to find-out if everything works correctly for others.
  8. Same here. Luxury that I now bypass due to costs. 😏
  9. It sounds like you had a dreadful experience. Hopefully, you are fully refunded and I hope that all else goes well!
  10. For the above situation, we would choose to go to the buffet, or, go to The Local/O'Sheehan's = most casual of the sit-down service restaurants!
  11. Perhaps you will find more information here: (scroll through for JVD posts) https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/202-tortola/
  12. All NCL ships seem to have the same standard dining hours. Restaurants begin Dinner Hours at 5:30 pm (or 6:00 pm at some specialty).
  13. I would suspect that the answer lies within the purchase contract (likely, fine print)! Perhaps commission to Park West (only a guess on my part).
