  1. But the time we would add in 2 or 3 suitcases into an AA flight for a 2 and half hour flight down to Florida just didn't seem to make any sense($$) for the extra cost since Southwest has free bags.
  2. Most times flying from Philadelphia we always flew on Southwest, No first class on their planes. My Wife has to have an Window seat and is not a fan of sitting next to a stranger. Case in point, I get the middle seat. 😬
  3. What ever the cost is, don't let the extra drinks draw you in . Pretty sure it's not worth it.
  4. My Wife is the same, I have yet to sit in an aisle seat when 3 person in a row. Only time I get an aisle seat is when we travel on Southwest and the plane is full. Okay now when traveling on a Southwest flight what do you do so no one sits in the row with you. What tactic works best? Reading a book? and never looking up at the people walking in looking for seats? Box of tissues in the empty middle seat with used tissues all around seems to work best. 🤣😲
  5. Problem is the Concierge isn't sitting at their desks 24/7 like GS is. I want the fix done when I have the time to take care of it which may not be the time the Concierge is on duty.
  6. You must be young then, cast iron pipe is all we used when I used to work with my Father who had Plumbing and Heating Business. Now this was probably 50 years ago. The fittings were sealed with Oakum and Hot Lead. Play the whole video from the beginning. https://www.google.com/search?q=cast+iron+pipe+filled+with+lead&oq=cast+iron+pipe+filled+with+lead&aqs=chrome..69i57j33i160l3j33i22i29i30l4.12171j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:947b0161,vid:RnCwChSBqFA,st:54
  7. Hope everyone had their dinner by now...Before we sold our house in NJ we had to have the elbow type fitting replaced that goes to the Grey water tank. The guy actually had to climb down into the tank with a ladder and make the fix. Also he had no mask on, I don't know if he held his breathe or what. What a shitty job.
  8. Well it better, yes. Not hooked up yet. but we have it. The little K-cup thing attaches to the right of the black area in the door. It only heats when you want the cup, it's not like a pot of coffee is sitting there hot inside the door. Seems pretty neat and will keep us from putting a K-cup coffee machine on the counter constantly. I guess it will work as long as it works, not sure it would be an expensive fix or not. Guess we will worry about that when the times comes.

  10. We bought GE Profile Appliances for our Remodel. Refrigerator , Dishwasher, Microwave/Oven. Gas Range is a Z-Line
  11. You forgot to add in there cost for a septic system , if you live it that house long enough, the leach fields may need to be dug up and hauled away and replace with a new field (sand, etc) because the grey water will no longer drain down through it.
  12. These will work the same way, just cheaper, year supply for under $25.00 https://www.amazon.com/Septic-Tank-Treatment-Dissolvable-Expensive/dp/B071WMZCFC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=133EV04LHO0GJ&keywords=bacteria+water+septic+ta&qid=1667427879&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjUyIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=bateria+eater+septic+ta%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A2ZO5ODLYD4HQS
  13. During the season there was a couple series that Keith refused to do Mets/Phillies games because he couldn't stand watching the Phillies defense.
  14. Phillies have been holding their own on defense during the playoffs, that is what counts now. Everything before this doesn't matter now................Wonder what Keith Hernandez the Mets Broadcaster thinks now about the Phillies defense, guess he is sitting home now with the rest of the Mets Players. 🙂
  15. Have her go in the basement and look for a 6 inch white plastic pipe going through one of the exterior walls..............Pretty good bet the septic is straight out from that. Sounds like the tank that holds the solids is covered over with a few inches of soil and grass. Out from that would be your leach fields for the grey water. How long as she lived there, might be time for a pump out. City water or a well, if a well the septic will not be near that either.
  16. He can hopefully start working on that in a few days. 😁 Phillies hitters looked like they were playing in Men's League playing Slo-Pitch Softball with all the junk the Houston Pitcher was throwing in a Home Run Contest
  17. Been to their stadium a few times, it's about 7 miles where our Son lives in Jackson, NJ near Six Flags Great Adventure.
  18. Interesting info, that might be a reason why once this cruise was listed for sale. Either the ship sold really, really fast or the cruise line decided to put a block of the sailing from being booked. Because after about 2 weeks on sale you couldn't find a balcony or suite to book of any kind. Just a few insides and outsides cabins is all you could find. Could it be they are waiting until Jan 2023 to open up bookings again once the cruise line knows for sure just what the amount will be for the charge to go through the canal. I bet then we see Suites and Balconies available again with much higher port charges then we paid.
  19. I'm just saying, say they estimate when I book that the ship will sail with 2500 passengers, so I get charged an X amount to cover the entire port charges...........but when the ship actually sails there are 3000 passengers..........okay so there now is a pretty good bet they have more port charges money then needed......if as you say port charges are done by the size of the ship. Where does that extra money go? if they don't refund it to the passengers?
