Not sure but the weight limit is there more for the baggage handlers lifting that one bag which is over weight.....not so much about the total weight the airplane can carry. If the entire plane's passengers thought like that, might end up with a plane full of over weight bags. Putting more stress on the crew lifting those bags on and off the planes. So they charge you or ask you to redistribute to other bags to even out the weight.

Travel agents can't see the cabins Royal is holding back though.....Pretty good bet there are still cabins available but Royal just isn't releasing them yet. They may still be filling out GTY bookings. Still 16 days to go before that ship sails. Some people will also cancel for one reason or another too to open up some cabins.

I always wondered what the need for the helmet is on a zipline on a cruise ship is for?

We were never booked on the Pacific Coastal Cruise like some were before the Panama Canal cruise back to Tampa from San Diego. We had just the Panama Canal Cruise which we canceled for the Greenland Cruise out of Bayonne, NJ. So since this will be our first cruise since Covid, we are going to ease back into cruising. Not super excursion packed cruise which is fine with us. We got the Liberty Trust Hotel booked in Roanoke for one night on the 12th of September. It was a bank turned into a hotel, pretty neat. We booked this hotel because it is also just about a half block away from Train Platform in Roanoke. So it will be super easy getting on the train there. On the 13th we will board the 6:20am Amtrak Train to Newark(Penn Station) in Newark. Arrival in Newark 3:00pm. We have the TRYP by Wyndham Newark Downtown booked on the 13th, our cruise leaves the next day on the 14th. First stop is Halifax, My Wife and I have a private 7 hour tour booked with a local tour guide. He is an tour guide that the cruise lines use. But he can work for himself if he likes, he just tells the cruise lines he is not available. Next port, Nuuk, Greenland, have an excursion booked through Royal.( Fiord Safari Boat Tour.) Next port Qaqortoq, Greenland, another excursion booked through Roya l(Qaqortoq Town Walk) Next Port Nanotalik, Greenland, Royal only has to tours listed for that port and both are Sold Out. (One is a walking tour and the other was a boat tour. Not really interested in any of those. So there we will just get of the ship and wing it. We also hoping to see the Northern Lights on one the nights in Greenland....... 🙂 Last Port is St. Johns , Newfoundland , there we will be doing a Royal excursion( St. Johns Highlights and Museum Tour). Then at the end of the cruise, we will be renting a car and staying at our Son's house in Northern NJ for 1 night and another night we will visit my 2 Sisters and some other relatives and friends in South Jersey. We will then drive back home to Virginia on Saturday..........about a 7 hour drive.

78 degrees here feels like 81 degrees.........got to love the Blue Ridge Mountains around us. 🙂 Humidity here today is only 47% Air Quality Index 58 Moderate Air quality is acceptable; however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution.

Everyone always say though, in AZ that is a dry heat..............so which is hotter? AZ or Texas? on NJ's humidity heat?

Ouch, what got the worst of it, your car or the door? Does your car have the beeper signal when getting close to objects behind you when backing up?

What category cabin on you in that has a bunk bed?

Does the movie really seem like it's an almost 3 hour movie or does it go by faster then that?

I dropped my Wife off to get her hair done.....I then attempted to go to the local Mall. I had just pulled into parking lot and a driving rain storm started...Rained like 2 inches in 1 hour. I looked over to my right and saw this....just had to get a picture of it. A lady finally came out mind, you it was still pouring, She was soaked to the bone and embarrassed. Other cars were watching her too...I hope she learned don't leave your convertible for over an hour in a parking lot in Southwest Virginia on the summer. The weather here can change so quick. Not sure what kind of car it was. If the rain had stopped I was going to go out and take some inside pictures to see just how high the water got inside on the floor.

We were there back in September 2021...if you don't like cheesecake they can change it up with chocolate cake 🙂 The last picture was a Smores.

When we lived in NJ, We took Frontier ONCE from Trenton. Once was 1 time to many for us. First off they don't have any gangways to the planes. You have to walk out on the tarmac and use the stairs sets up to board the plane, plus the holding area before getting on the plane is super tiny. The it was supper crowded, people on top of each other. There is a nice Sky Lounge on the top floor to get away from some of those people down stairs, so do go up there if you have time before boarding your plane. Not that crowded up there Be glad you are only using them one way, Our return flight was canceled and there was no one at the Airport in Florida at the Frontier desk to rebook us on another flight or on another Airline. Of course no planes going into Tiny Trenton Airport anyway. That was why no one was there to help ANYONE. Older people were there crying , because they had no idea what to do. We had to get another flight on our own on our cell phones on another airline and fly into Newark Airport.................then we had to get an Uber to take us from Newark(EWR) to Trenton to get our car. where it was parked at Trenton Airport. It was a long day, a total mess ! Just have back up plans if need be. Frontier is know for canceling flights, they are definetly a low budget airline.

Doing somethings left handed can be difficult when you are right handed.😉 Good Luck

Did you sailing do Glacier Bay?

We have lots of rabbits and a few baby deer now. Some of the Deer are quite old and come up right to my Truck for a treat. Some can never get enough food.

We have been to Medieval Times many times, both in NJ and Florida. Didn't know they had one in Myrtle Beach. It's always a great evening, some people don't know that the food is really good too. It's amazing just how many people they can feed all at once. Edit: Just reread your post, you mentioned the food was good too. 🙂

Guess it would be worth it if you each had 6 drinks or more per day. Otherwise pay as you go might be better then for some people.

Curious , what was the price of this package per day on your sailing?

At our final stop at Newark(Penn Station) when we are getting off our business car we don't have to go through the car infront of us to get off the train do we. Our car will have doors at both ends of our car right? We can get off at either end ? Is that correct? In the business car I was in the other day on the weekend, it seemed like I had to lift up a red bar to get in the car, then I passed through the Cafe area to get to the business class 5 or 6 rows of seats. This was the half car business car though, hopefully our full length business car will be easier getting in and out of.
