  1. Jan and I currently are signed up for two back- to back cruises.

First one is Rome to Miami November 13th 2023 Splendor
Second one is Singapore to Tokyo February 2024. Explorer.

Also did one last November Miami to Miami on Splendor.

Reason  is because of the reduction in Regent air which is taken off part of the cruise.

So far never had to change cabins.

  2. We did a Regent Voyager cruise a couple of months ago and used our passport photos.

Then a month ago did a Oceania cruise for the 1st time, and used the same photos.

And yes we used the same photos for this cruise coming up Nov.12th on Voyager when we sent

    them last Saturday.

  3. SSAWJO:

Have you finally received your documents?

Saturday the 22nd was the day to go to Regent web site and fill

out the final information and send your picture. Were you able to do that?

We will also be flying into Lisbon on the 9th.

At Doubletree Fontana Park. We are with Jan's brother and they arrive 3:45 pm

Our flight was changed and we do not arrive until 7:45 pm.

  4. We have a booking on hold to go on this LAX to LAX cruise.

On roll call there is a comment about Regatta having a number of problems.

Such as water, sewer, not enough help, specialty restaurants closed.

Can someone who recently has been on the ship verify if any of this is true?

This cruise will be the 1st on Oceania. Normally our cruises have been on Regent, but we want to try it,

because Oceania has such great itineraries, and if we like our first cruise aboard, we may do some more.

  5. Probably not much help to you.

We normally do the free excursions, but have done a few of the extra cost ones.

Majority have been really good, but have had a couple very disappointing.

I agree if you can do some research ahead of time would be helpful.

Have found that if Regent hears bad reports about a tour they check it out and pull it

if it turns out to be true.

  6. I've got flights booked, pre-hotel, one day excursion in Miami, before our Splendor Dec. 17th cruise,

and more post hotel, rental car, Golf, planned when we get off the ship Jan. 6th in Miami.

I sure hope the AG of Florida and Governor, clear their heads, and realize it is in their best interest

to stay out of private enterprise business and let them determine the safest and best way to protect

their customers, employees, business, and reputation.

  7. I thought about doing that , but you can appreciate this, I am afraid that I would lose the cabin I booked ,as my

TA had to work hard to get the one I wanted. 2022 and already certain cabins are getting close to being sold out!!

That is the way it is with Regent right?

  8. Need to admit I forgot who was actually putting the webinar on, so I may have been a little over zealous

about the content, but still very disappointed.

Couple of months ago signed up for the April 7th 2022 Singapore to Dubai cruise, and since the requirement by Signature

is a "new booked" cruise  we are SOL and the deal they are offering.

  9. Our TA was kind enough to send out to  clients about the special deal.

You had to sign up for the Webinar, and your TA had to be a Signature Travel member

Since they were the ones, and not Regent, putting on the webinar.

  10. Very disappointed.  I know this took a lot of hard work to put together but for the most part it was

a giant sells pitch. What happened to the question & answer part? They asked us to have questions

when we signed up. the Chef was the best part, but when he was showing us what he was making was

    to far away.

Oh and what about the exciting news for you by signing up?  Contact your Signature TA for information.

I would like to know, but don't want to contact my TA with hundreds other clients just to find out what it is.

Kind of hoping our TA sends out a email telling us.

Why could they have not just told us on the Webinar?

I have heard about this but know how to do it.

We have starting using our cruise credit to book private transportation when we disembark, but

you are also suppose to be able to do this when you embark.

We always need to fly in the day before boarding and this would be fantastic to be able to be picked

up at the hotel and taken to the ship instead of using a Taxi, Uber or hotel van.
