  1. Very disappointed.  I know this took a lot of hard work to put together but for the most part it was

a giant sells pitch. What happened to the question & answer part? They asked us to have questions

when we signed up. the Chef was the best part, but when he was showing us what he was making was

    to far away.

Oh and what about the exciting news for you by signing up?  Contact your Signature TA for information.

I would like to know, but don't want to contact my TA with hundreds other clients just to find out what it is.

Kind of hoping our TA sends out a email telling us.

Why could they have not just told us on the Webinar?

I have heard about this but know how to do it.

We have starting using our cruise credit to book private transportation when we disembark, but

you are also suppose to be able to do this when you embark.

We always need to fly in the day before boarding and this would be fantastic to be able to be picked

up at the hotel and taken to the ship instead of using a Taxi, Uber or hotel van.

  2. Friend who has a relative working at LGA said starting November 1st there

will be big changes in the way you drop someone off and pick them up at the airport.

Has anyone else know about this or have more information?

Guess it is going to slow things down a bunch.

  3. Have been fortunate to be able to sail on all the current and past ships except Song of Flower which was gone before we started sailing on Regent..

Must say The Diamond was our least favorite. Strange set up. For current ships the Navigator was not high on our list.

We were on it 03/11/2009 and the vibrations were difficult to handle. On it again 10/28/18 and must say we were very impressed. So impressed we are sailing on it again 11/04/19.

Favorite ship for us is still the Mariner by far. Voyager, comes in 2nd. Explorer still can't decide.

  4. They were showing you the price with air, then in small print the deduction if you do your own air.

Before doing that everything printed had air included and you would need your TA or yourself contact

Regent to see the discount for doing your own flight.

Then closer to the cruise they would have a "sale" and show you a price without air.

Maybe they have discontinued doing that.

  5. Not very happy.

Just received notice that we will be required to have a yellow fever shot before our November 4th

cruise aboard the Navigator. NYC to MIA. St. Lucia is requiring it.

    Our problem is

    1. We had one 12 years ago when we did our Amazon cruise aboard the Mariner which has run out.

    2. Now we have to drive 150 miles to Billings Montana to get another one before the cruise.

  6. S.O. has real problems when around perfume and colognes and I really don't like it.

We have asked to be moved before because of it.

I agree with Travel Cat I thought wearing the stuff was a thing of the past? If not should be.

We only have one friend that can't help themselves and still wears perfume.

Rest of us do let her know but in a polite way.

  7. Remember when we were 1st told about the Explorer and they said the "H" cabins was going to be a new size to cater to the single traveler? Regent knows the importance of single travelers and on the new ship would address this.

So what happened?? They just decided to sell these as to small of double cabins and dropped the single idea.

I am surprised that headquarters is saying they will make the new ship the same as Explorer and not take care of some of the glaring problems on Explorer.

For us the Mariner is #1. with Voyager #2. Navigator was at the bottom for us but will be sailing on her October 28th 2018 Montreal to Miami and will see if improves and moves up a notch ahead of Explorer..

  8. Here is what I would like to see different on Splendor from Explorer.

    1. Constellation theater Upper level sight lines. On Explorer you can hardly find a decent seat to see the stage. Terrible.

    2. Constellation theater Lower level pillars. Don't put seats behind the pillars like on Explorer. Only see half the stage.

    3. Observation Lounge. On Explorer the are two locked doors that go no where. Put a deck out there so passengers can go outside and see the front of the ship.

    4. Requested on Explorer but they did not do it. LED night lights in the bathrooms so you don't need to

turn the bright lights on at night.
