  1. Love Cozumel! I've actually never been there on a cruise, though, but I've gone a bunch on land-based trips.
  2. Our tour guide on Martinique told us that there are groups of older people who still practice voodoo, and I imagine it's the same on Guadeloupe. Be careful. 😆
  3. Surprisingly (to me, too), it wasn't as much of a time suck as I expected it to be 😂 and in actuality, it's just easier to do it a la minute rather than a bigger catch up summary at the end of the day. The extent of my photo editing was to crop out background noise if needed or when I remembered to, which took at most 5 seconds, come to CC that was already open on my phone which took another 5 seconds, add a narrative and insert photo(s) which took maybe 20 seconds, and hit submit reply. I'm not counting the time of actually taking the photos because I would have done that anyway, live blog or no. So, for the most part, usually only 30-40 seconds taken away from the actual activity being done. For posts that were longer or more of a summary/recap of an event or whatever, I would work on the actual post in a notes app on my phone during dead time like waiting in line for a show, sitting and waiting for the show to start, waiting for a drink, waiting for hubby, etc, so after a few of those dead spaces where nothing was happening anyway, the post was done and I just had to copy & paste. Easy! I do know that some cruise lines will comp actual influencers their cruise in exchange for their "work," and I've actually seen this in one case with VV, but I'd say the vast majority of us on CC are just regular people who pay for our sailings and just share for fun.
  4. Lol no, no perks. Personally I learn so much about a ship/line from reading other people's lives, so I wanted to pay it back on my recent sailing for what was a new itinerary from a new embarkation port as I knew people had questions about it (as I did before sailing). Not everything in life has to have a benefit to myself for me to want to do it...
  5. Menu A is the far superior menu IMO. Love it!
  6. I'm so excited for you! Hope it's the best!
  7. Thank you, hope your upcoming cruise is fabulous!!
  8. And just like that, it was all over! The kitties are happy to have us home and we'll be fighting jet lag for a couple of days. No plans to cruise again anytime soon, but who knows what will happen. We have a ton of land based trips planned over the next couple years so I don't think we'll be cruising again until 2026 at the soonest. Thanks again for following along, we had a blast!
  9. Pretty crappy, TBH. It was small and cramped, and they ran out of bubbles by 10:30am. We left a little before our flight boarded to go buy food because the offerings in the lounge were not great. Breakfast only until noon when they switch over to lunch.
  10. It would get a little slow at certain times, but only a couple of times over the whole week. I had zero issues staying connected and uploading photos on basic wifi. Couldn't stream anything, but that was expected.
  11. I'm excited for your trip! I just got off so I'll be glad to continue on in some capacity. 😂
  12. Ok we're off the ship, I guess it's your turn!
  13. Airport arrival/check-in/security was all super easy, and we're now chillin in the airport lounge. Think I'll go grab a mimosa. Next stop, Miami!
  14. Lol there was nothing left I could do. All good.
  15. Walked right off the ship at around 9:15, no lines, didn't stop walking until we got outside to find a spot to order the Uber. Waiting for our driver now to the airport, $13.
  16. Started the week with $1400, looking like we'll be leaving $10 behind. I'm so impressed but not sure if I should be. 😂
  17. The ship was rockin and rollin last night, at one point it even woke me up! But we made it, and it's a beautiful morning in San Juan.
