  1. FYI for next time, there's a huge drawer for storage in that white space. Most people miss it the first time. ☺️ Thanks for bringing us along!! Glad you had a great time!
  2. Yeah, no more life jacket demo. It was the same on Valiant at the beginning of this month, only video and check in at muster station.
  3. Wonderful, I'm so glad you loved it! I wish I had more time in San Juan to go back to some of those places.
  4. On my previous sailings, the painting/decorating was done on a separate day from bidding per what I heard at the races themselves.
  5. You can get things your way in the Galley. The burgers and tacos are not the "pre-made boxed options" to which he was referring. Those items are things like sushi, salads, charcuterie, some sandwiches, wraps, things like that that are available boxed to be taken anywhere on the ship if you don't want to stay and wait for a burger, tacos, ramen, panini, salad bar, whatever else.
  6. Booked directly with the company! https://sanjuanfoodtours.com/tours/ The one we did was the Flavors of San Juan tour.
  7. Yes, there are QR codes at the tables, or, what a lot of people do, is walk around to all the stations to see what is being offered before sitting down. There isn't a lot of change, only a couple of items here or there, so a couple of walk arounds would be enough before you pretty much know what is available everywhere. French Daze was my first VV sailing in 2022. You're going to love it!!
  8. Excited to follow along! It has been great having other lives in the immediate weeks after our sailing. Helps dull the sting of not being on the ship anymore. 😆 Hope you enjoy your first VV!
  9. On Valiant earlier this month Around the World was in the Red Room, and I think we did have to book it.
  10. Yes, you can cancel a paid event at no cost up until 24 hours before the start time. Within 24 hours, you'll be charged the full cost.
  11. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed your review! Re: not getting an MNVV, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Some TAs have them readily available for their clients, you just have to find one that does (and it isn't too difficult to do so). The sailing I just went on earlier this month was booked via an MNVV that I had purchased onboard back in 2022, but hubby and I also recently went on an unplanned, last minute sailing (as in, booked within a week of sailing). I had reached out to my TA asking about my booking options, and she had a bunch of MVVV's available so she booked me with one of those and voila, magic. All the same loot perks and everything. We didn't purchase an MNVV on the sailing we disembarked from last week because like you, we're pretty booked through 2026. But I know that if/when I'm able to book VV again, my TA can easily get one for me. Takes a lot of the pressure off.
  12. I prefer the Wake's hanger steak over the filet. On land I'm a filet girl, but I find the Wake's filet to lack flavor. The hanger steak is excellent!!
  13. Thanks for sharing, loved following along!
  14. Haha yep, count me as another who has never gone to Gunbae on any of my sailings. I have no desire to change that, either.
  15. Glad you also had a fabulous time! Transitioning back to work yesterday was rough. 😅
  16. Love Cozumel! I've actually never been there on a cruise, though, but I've gone a bunch on land-based trips.
  17. Our tour guide on Martinique told us that there are groups of older people who still practice voodoo, and I imagine it's the same on Guadeloupe. Be careful. 😆
