    One thing that is very big on Cunard is ballroom dancing and professional dancers. They also have Gentlemen Dance Hosts. I did dance classes everyday which kept me active.

    My daughter arrived in Hawaii yesterday. Less than 24 hours later she and her friend hiked up to Diamond Head. Afterwards when she got off the trolley she collapsed and fell backwards hitting her head on the concrete. She entered up being taken to ER my ambulance then put on a drip due to dehydration.

    On my last Princess cruise with my then 88 and 92 yr old parents they didn’t take a smart phone. Mum never learnt to use one.

    Our top cover doesn’t cover patient transport from a public to private hospital or from hospital to home. Queensland residents get free ambulance cover Australia wide.

    My dad is 95. When mum passed away 2 years ago he lost his part pension. He is not eligible for the CSHC. He is in a nursing home and pays $3700 a month for the room plus $300 for the chemist bill. He has to keep his private health cover to be covered for ambulance and his 6 week eye injections for macular degeneration which cost $700.

    I was on a cruise where one of the entertainers was in a scooter. I moved aside for him when he got in the lift and asked his if he had enough room. Instead of thanking me he ignored me.

    Is it difficult to get an ANZ platinum visa when you are a self funded retiree? How about pre existing medical condition coverage? I have quite a few.

    I wish this was the case in NSW. We have to take out ambulance cover through a private health fund.

    It doesn’t worry me not being in Aus dollars. Though when you book on the Aus site you are charged a currency conversion fee as it’s processed in US dollars. I always use my 28 Degrees card. We don’t dress up for theme nights

    That is excellent service. NSW residents don’t get anything like that.

    Not cruise related. We are planning to go to Norfolk Island. Would a week be enough or should we stay longer?
