  1. We went on the Vista in April. The best I remember from the time we got in line to the time we got on the ship just under 30 minutes. We arrived about 10:40 for a 10:30 boarding window. First off the line started outside. It was warm, but at least it is covered. I think we were there for under ten minutes. Then inside thru the maze of roped lines to get thru port/terminal security. They checked our Verifly for vaccine, photo Id and passed us thru. Final section was Carnival check in upstairs. Went thru the scanners for carry on bags, they looked at our boarding passes, verified our onboard spending account and took our picture. Since we were past the 10:30 start time we walked straight on.
  2. I've been on both the last few years out of NO. The way I remember them is the interior decor. The Glory is Colors and the Valor is the dead president heads, eagles and flags.
  3. I recently discovered the grilled salmon ceaser salad at sea day brunch. It is excellent!
  4. Dont skip the new Fundertots at the Pig & Anchor
  5. On our Vista cruise last month we boarded at Terminal 1. The Dream was at Terminal 2. We parked at the port's garage on the corner of Rosenberg (25th) Sreet and Harborside Drive (Hwy 275) and just walked across at the crosswalk right there. We had pulled thru the terminal area before parking to drop off our luggage with the porters but that took a while because of all the traffic. Next time we will just park and roll our luggage across as we had to do that when disembarking anyway.
  6. On both of my cruises since the restart I have had the offer appear in "my to do list" in the cruise planner as noted above. The first one was in Novemeber 2021 and ended up sailing at only 50% capacity. Booked an interior and got an email to upgrade to a balcony about a month before sailing. I didn't take it at first and the next week got an email for the same thing for $100 less and took it. When I clicked the link to purchase it took me to the to do list. The 2nd cruise was April 2022 and there was no email. Saw an offer on my to do list about 3 weeks before sailing to again move from an interior to a balcony.
  7. On our November 2021 Glory cruise it was 2 and 6
  8. Other than the day 5 menu as @Cruisegirl1919mentioned above, they are they same menus as my last two 7 days, one on the Vista and one on the Glory. The days may be switched up but it was otherwise the same.
  9. We won't be on this one, but we are doing the Journeys cruise a few weeks before.
  10. We were there in November 2021. We just showed up without a reservation (this was our 3rd time doing that) and paid $5 entry fee. We ordered food and drinks as we wanted from the menu and waiters and they kept a running tab that we paid when we got ready to leave.
