If I’m upgraded from a room that holds 2 to a room that holds 4, can I then add more people to my room under the 3/4 sale free?

Ouch for the May 13th people!!!
Though if I recall, prices for the Haven that week were exceptionally low...maybe that’s why so many are snagged?
How many Haven rooms total are on the Getaway? You have piqued my curiosity about percentage occupancy! :)
They actually were not low, this week was eligible for tax free savings but then again, so is the 27th of May so know one know for sure.
What I do know, or see is havens do not get allocated until last minute (24-72 hours before) this gives ncl the most time possible to get full price.

I’m on the May 27th getaway. I will bid and report as well. Lots of people gonna get upgraded this week and I haven’t seen any reduction in price of any of the lower priced havens in weeks, just the OS and DOS
May 6th - 21 havens left
May 13th - 3 havens left
May 20th - 22 havens left
May 27th - 32 havens left
June 3rd - 21 havens left

You are most welcome, at one time we all were new to the forum and cruising :)
Keep in mind if you upgrade to Haven you will have a butler to tip as well at cruise end
I have been in the haven before. You don’t have to tip the butler unless you use him. If you use him, tip what you would on land, tally up the money and give it to him at the end of your cruise.

If you prepay tips on the drink or dining package at 20% then why is the overall tips for the cruise 13.50 a day, shouldn’t it be a flat 20%

I read here on CC that someone did a B2B with the 1st leg returning to Miami and the 2nd leaving from Port Canaveral on the same morning (different cruise lines).
I did this 2 years ago. Got off the ship in Miami at 8am, was in PC by 11am ready to board and I would do it again!

I don’t get it. Every time I do the promo changes for something better anyway and I gotta call to change it or the price drops. Even when the escape and getaway debuted I still would have got a better deal close to booking.

Got mine Tuesday 4/17 for 4/22 cruise on GA, if that helps. From BC to H4 for $1,380PP, probably bid too much but really wanted it!
So how much did you actually save at that price? And how long after bidding did they accept?

If I book a cruise for about a month out and they lower the prices last minute will they still give me the difference as OBC. There are a lot of mixed answers on that so I need someone to clarify.

I’ve recorded 4 weeks and room availability for the escape. Interesting data so far, but I’ll be able to use their algorithms to save me a ton of money on sailings.

I’m looking a a few individual weeks in the haven, all the weeks are now within 60 days.
Week A has 33 Available rooms
Week B has 44 Available rooms
Week C has 17 Available rooms
One question would be, on week C, why is the room category I want the cheapest, there are only 2 left compared to 7+ on weeks A and B.
It seems to me after looking for quite a while that the price algorithms might be from historical data and not necessarily from inventory based data. Not to say that it may be updated closer to sailing or just all the remaining rooms can be thrown in to the “bidding inventory”. If they do it this way, they can protect their prices by not going lower than their preset minimums.
Can anyone chime in with their opinions or logic. Maybe some first hand experiences when it comes to price drops.

It did decrease on April 8th. That’s about when I started tracking. There’s 9 of those left so they aren’t selling well but I doubt they lower any further. As far as the perks I see all 4 available on this in the options for booking.
