  1. I was the one who stopped you by the pool.We also had a mini suite for the 7 day cruise but enjoyed D731 much more for the 15 day crossing. We are going back on Regal for a 5 night cruise on 10/26 followed by a 10 nighter on 10/31 and then 7 nights on Allure of the Seas on 11/10.

I'm sure this has been asked many times but do you book with airline direct or use Ez air and more importantly why?

    Thanks in advance.

Just returned home from Europe after a cruise on Regal and the price of the one way flight was $350 using EZ air and the price on the AA website was over $3000.Thats why I use EZ air!

  3. The room steward immediately washed the balcony down and scrubbed it,but the stains were ground into the surface.Great location and larger balconys on Dolphin deck.We have also sailed in E729 on Royal but the soot was not as bad.It could be that it was a corner cabin with more wind to blow the soot off. Both of those cruises were east bound transatlantics where the stern cabin are the best with the afternoon sun.

I had to actively have the mediallion sent which is on the ocean ready app.  I also had to confirm which address (cabin mate has a different address) I wanted it sent to. When i completed that I received an email that said "Thank you for your Ocean Medallion order" with a confirmation number.  Did you order your medallions?  I saw that you had to order the medallion at least 12 days in advance.  There was also an option to have it picked up at the port.

I did all of the above and verified with Princess 3 times that I did it correctly and was told that I did.I think they are still trying to work out the issues.

We took a back to back to back series of 3 cruises totaling 28 days on the Caribbean Princess with  3 booking numbers. Our medallion came in the mail and was good for the entire 28 days.  We were in the same cabin the entire time.

Two different CSR's at Princess told me that we would get a new medallion for the second cruise.I really don't much care how they do it.

  6. Now it is saying that they will be available at the port as they didn’t have time to deliver or my address could not be delivered to.As I said,I completed all of this in December. It really doesn’t matter as long as I know what the plan is.As we are on for 22 days, they combined the cruise on the Ocen ready making it look like one cruise even though we have 2 different booking #’s and cabins. We shall see in a week.

    Here you go johnmik1-

We received our medallions last week. Pretty cool looking. Can't wait to see how they work out.

But here are the two important questions you probably have...

    Ignazio D'Agostino, your maître d

    Cruise Director, Corey Moir

Thanks for the info! Was there any info on the Captain,Hotel General Manager and Entertainment Director?I called Princess last year about no longer receiving the precruise emails and they told me that my travel agent had requested that they be discontinued. She said that she never did that and called Princess and asked that the emails be reinstated which they never did.

I'm boarding the Regal on April 7th and I have received a few emails regarding the ship, dining and just Saturday one about the entertainment and cruise director. Also information about all the apps available since it's a Medallion cruise.

Can you share that with us who don't get that info? Thanks!

Sorry for mixup.  It is actually called ocean compass and it is part of medallion net;  you won't be able to use or download until you are onboard

I downloaded Ocean Compass a few weeks ago while at my home in Chicago.

In Jan., my BFF & her DH had a "premium balcony" on the Regal.  Difference: a small sofa (2-seat).

They really liked it enough to book a mini-suite for their next cruise (Island) to ensure getting a sofa.

    Enjoy!

Deluxe balconies have small sofas and Premium balconies are Deluxe balconies in a premium location.

OBC from from your TA will not show up on your cruise personalizer, and may not show up on your account the first few days when you board. Not to worry. Enjoy your cruise!

I have two cruises booked on Regal next month and both have onboard credits listed as Travel Agent GRP Promotion. We get OBC from her every cruise and it always shows up in the payments and credits section on the personalizer.
