We sailed Reflection when she first set sail and then a few times since. Really like the Sunset Bar area with the center bar. Winter 2022 we had an outstanding bar team! Cheers! -

Wakie Wakie!!! Is embarkation day!!!! Fried Rice to get the day going??? 🤔 Anyway have a an outstanding day! What time do you pull out? Need to warm the web cam up! If you happen to run into a cabin steward by the name of Ransel please let me know. He worked at the pool two years ago while we did a B2B and then was promoted to cabin steward. A great guy from DR. Cheers! -

Jumping on board for another “Live” with Charla! Nothing more can be said about all the hurdles you and Jeremy have been through. You know when you read Live reviews posted by many you really feel you get to know them even if you haven’t met them. As said however sending you the best for your trip. I wanted to try dry January, but didn’t think it was in the cards for me but then I was watching a program where they had a doctor on talking about “Damp” January! Now that is doable for me. 😂. Still dabble a bit in the liquid libations, by cutting back. Starting a 30 day cruise next week, I couldn’t see jumping from stop to 100 miles an hour! 🤔 Looking forward to your adventure, slow down, breath and reset for the coming year. Cheers! -
Sounds like the first chic night is tonight, night two. When is the second chic night?? Thanks and a Very Happy Birthday to you!!! Cheers!

Best areas to stay in London pre-cruise?
countess5 replied to NMTraveller's topic in British Isles/Western Europe
We have stayed at the Marriott which is right on the boardwalk near the London Eye! Just down the street from Big Ben and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. It’s right on Thames river for great boat trips. Cheers! -
Pre-booking specialty dining with Dining package?
countess5 replied to skydawg's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Purchasing the dining package does not allow you to book a reservation prior to boarding. Once you board you would go ( last time we were on board) to just outside of guest relations and there is a table set up for making reservations. Some have gone to a specialty restaurant and booked there. Now with that said as an Elite plus maybe Elite a benefit is booking reservations a head of time by calling Captains Club. We are Elite Plus and have not tried this, but we are sailing Ascent next month and may try it. I think the reservation may never make the ship. Cheers! -
Morning! Not a big thing but if you happen to talk to a sommelier tonight would you ask about the upscale wine tasting? I guess that’s what I would call it. We were I believe on Apex and only learned of this wine tasting when our sommelier asked us if we would be interested in a nice wine tasting. It was held in Tuscan. The wine was paired with very nice cheeses and a head sommelier talked about each wine. There is one listed on the app but we saw that one and it was held outside Craft Social and people just waked around from one set up to the next just tasting wine. Thanks! Cheers!

Every Live I have been reading this winter so far has not had great weather. Saw on another thread a RCCL ship could not dock in Casa Maya yesterday because of winds, Of course winds are always blowing there. We are sailing for a month in about two weeks and hope weather starts to change. we are mostly ship people anyway but do like some of the Islands we are stopping at. Enjoy the sea day! Cheers!

Back to Back different ships, same day, same port question
countess5 replied to Mango Tango's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Follow up….. Our experience was that a separate van was used to move us we were not on a bus, but……….again use a cab, we waited all that time as the buses were loaded before the van was available. Cheers! -
Back to Back different ships, same day, same port question
countess5 replied to Mango Tango's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The last two winters we have sailed side by side and B2B on Celebrity. The first winter Covid was still an issue so no transportation provided. We grabbed a taxi and headed to the other terminal. Last year we were told that transportation would be provided. We showed up when we were supposed to and the CD had already taken the people down to disembark. Was told to go down to the port and we would be shown where to go to pick up our transfer. Ok, we did that and was directed to where they were loading buses for Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports. What a Sh*T show. Waited an hour to get our transfer. DW said let’s get a cab, I said we have plenty of time so I want to see how this Sh*t show plays out! 😂 Boarding the buses was like herding cats! No one knew anything about the process and there were language issues between the drivers, the transportation representative and no idea who the last person was. 🙄 So to answer your question in a long way, yes transportation is provided. We went from our Celebrity port to a RCCL port to pick up people then to another Celebrity port to drop off people and then our port. My God it took forever to move 8 people. Bottom line take a cab, the fare is fixed from terminal to terminal inside the port. Less than $20, it’s posted on the window of the cab. I don’t remember exactly. Leaving February 10th to do it all over again! 😂 Cheers!
