  1. Both. Here's a link to the website: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/cruise-room-upgrade Yes, 30 days before sail date is about right.
  2. People do complain to the waiters and MDR staff - I've heard them. They typically don't say anything to anyone unless it is causing a big distraction or is clearly inappropriate. I just have a good laugh and go back to enjoying my dinner.
  3. RARE is akin to getting one of these when you win at Trivia:
  4. Clothing is very subjective and there are as many tastes in clothes as there are number of people. What looks fine to someone might look gaudy to someone else. As long as the parts of the body which should be covered are, you won't be turned away. It's a slippery slope when people try to get by wearing cut off t-shirts with vulgar writing, very short hot pants, thong bikinis, bathrobes and a baseball cap worn backwards to boot. Then there are those who dress formal in the most God-awful suits and dresses ever imaginable. There is something for everyone and it should be up to RCI to enforce its policies and not the passengers, IMHO. Personally, I like to people watch and have a good laugh at some of the sights but to complain? Never! It wasn't me. 😇
  5. There is a loosely configured plot - about a cat chosen to be reborn, but few can figure it out. Lots of people hate on Andrew Lloyd Webber, but his other musicals have been much more popular and loved.
  6. It's not about a good or bad performance of Cats on RC ships -- as far as the performance on Oasis it's pretty good. The problem is most people can't get into the story line or plot as it's loosely defined. Yes there is amazing dancing, lovely songs, silliness 99.9% of the time, and Memory is a terrific song - but that's about it. Your experience?
  7. People either love it or hate it. There is no real story line or plot. It's supposed to be about a cat chosen to be reborn but in the end you don't really know why the cat was chosen or anything about the cat and by that time you have either fallen asleep or walked out.
  8. Which demographic are you referring to? The dwindling smoking percentage vs the increasing non-smoking percentage? Could you elaborate?
  9. It was exactly this duck that I found on the Oasis in April of this year.
  10. Yes I found one my last cruise and gave it to a little kid to re-hide.
  11. I had a security person open it and smell it and then give it back to me. I asked them if they wanted a sip. 🤣 I guess they wanted to know if it was clear alcohol like vodka or gin. When they realized it was only water they returned it.
  12. You must mean flooding the toilet all day long, right? LOL!!
