I actually know someone who booked a flight and flew all the way to St. John's when they intended to fly to Saint John. 🤣

I live across the street from the cruise terminal. I did a 4 night to Canada as the start of a B3B on Oasis last year and sailed to my front door. We went home and did laundry and worked from home for the day. 🤣 This is a pic of the Liberty taken from my stoop last week. And this is it across from my condo building as I was coming home from Costco.

It drives me bananas when people call it St. John or St John's instead of Saint John. I know RCL used to put St. John in some information, not sure if they still do, which just adds to the confusion. I try to correct people but sometimes I cannot be bothered because it just keeps happening. People will figure it out eventually when they book an excursion on their own that ends up being in a different province. 🤣

As someone from the "nothing town" you are referring to, your post is completely insulting. I understand you are disappointed in the change, but is it really necessary to belittle the homes of others? We may not be a booming metropolis, but we are a lovely city with lots of charm and friendly residents who are always welcoming to cruise ship passengers.

I live in Saint John. It is very easy to get a cab. You just need to call a cab company and they will come pick you up. You may also be able arrange for the driver that takes you over to come back and get you. Just a heads up that we do not have rideshare (ie Uber, Lyft, etc) here.

It is not a comped casino booking is it? If so whoever's offer it is has to sail.

I am pretty sure I checked in on the app for an upcoming cruise from the Oasis a few weeks ago.

They need to change the app so you can upload a photo vs taking a new one every time.

We are booked on the 12/3 & 12/10 sailing. I am fully expecting to receive the same emails eventually. If they don't expect to have it fixed by the 11/26 sailing, I doubt it will be fixed by 12/3.

Another Canadian here. I would definitely opt for either prebuying OBC through gifts & gear or gifting them cash to spend. I have done the OBC and it worked really well. I have heard the gift cards can be a pain. I miss the days when the OBC was a great deal.

They would not let us use it on Grandeur in March either. We had been trying to use it Night 1 or 2. They did not give me a reason, just that it was only available at Chops or Giovanni's

We stayed in Meistre the night before our cruise in June and took the shuttle from Tronchetto to Ravenna. Honestly, I just lied and gave them flight information for a flight I was not actually booked on arriving early the day of the cruise. If I were to do it again, I would just take it from the airport. It was a pain to get to Tronchetto.

We just got off Oasis. Boarding was on a Sunday. We wanted to use it for Izumi Sushi on Tuesday night and they would not let us, even if we booked and paid in advance on Sunday.

Was anyone on the 1st of the Signature cruises on Wonder? Just wondering what swag was given out. We are on the Oct 15th one and was hoping to know how much space to leave in my suitcase 😂

Sorry but I have not taken the city bus here in 20+ years and then it was only once. It looks like this site allows you to enter in a start and end point and it will tell you how to get there. I do not think we have a great bus system so you might want to look at taxi options - there will be a ton of them around. https://saintjohn.ca/en/transit/routes-stops-and-schedules If there are no mobility restrictions in your party, the Imperial Theatre and Cathedral are not that far from the port and can easily be walked. The theatre is about 10-15 minutes from the port but it is all uphill. The Cathedral is about a 10 minute walk from the theatre and it is all flat I think. Fort Howe is about a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral but would include walking on a highway overpass but it does have sidewalks. The walk between Fort Howe & the port is probably 25-30 minutes and most of is along Harbour Passage walking trail. Rockwood Park is further and Carleton Martello Tower is on the West side so both would require a taxi or bus. The buses would probably need multiple transfers.

When we had the dining package on Oasis I learned the lesson I could not eat one by myself real fast lol

They do not normally scan your card when you order a pop with the pop package, they just look at your card.

When we went in June, we flew into Venice Marco Polo the day before the cruise then took the RCL shuttle the morning of the cruise to Ravenna. it was $45 per person each way.

The issue is not the UDP. What is happening is if you buy the $34.99 Prix Fixe your large plates will only have 4 rolls each. If you were not to get the Prix fixe and just got say two Futomaki, those would still be 8 rolls each

I doubt it. Even Mario has to follow the normal B2B process like everyone else. I have been on several B2Bs he has been on and he is always stuck in the line with us.
